  Fantastic value for money

  We have already stayed in the Mansio Headrow Superior apartment some time ago and it was excellent. The guy on reception at the time recommended trying the Basinghall apartments on our next visit. We booked a smaller standard apartment this time and the again the quality of the place was excellent and spotlessly clean. We drove this time and parked in the Albion Street Q Park which quite literally a stones throw from the accommodation. Again you got the comfy beds, lovely bedding and pillows, nice walk in shower, Molton Brown toiletries, dressing gowns etc. The kitchen area was again really well equipped with the welcome pack in the fridge. It had Bread, milk jam, coke, water, butter and a bar of chocolate. The Nespresso machine with 4 capsules, and biscuits was also a nice touch. The only negative about the ground floor apartment we stayed in was the giant cooling fans that are in the yard outside, you could hear the drone all the time from them. We will definitely stay here again and the price we payed for the quality of the place is brilliant.

  Great property, great location, exceptional service

  We have just finished staying at the Mansio Suites Basinghall and I cant recommend the place highly enough. The apartments are in a great location and offer everything that you would expect in a quality serviced apartment. However, for us the most exceptional thing about the Mansio was the amazing customer service we received while staying there. We had the misfortune - never again - of flying British Airways as part of our connection to Leeds. They lost my wifes baggage and we found it virtually impossible to get a response from a human being in 3 days. During all of this ongoing saga of woe every member of staff at the Mansio went out of their way to help us. Thuy who works at reception is simply outstanding and is easily the best thing about the Mansio apartments. We travel constantly and have done so for almost 30 years. I cant think of a member of staff at any hotel - chain or independent - who performs their role as well as Thuy. She went above and beyond to help us in an awful and impossible situation. The mark of an exceptional place is how guests are treated when things go wrong - Thuy is the gold standard!

  Outstanding service

  We booked rooms for ourselves and both sets of parents for the night before and after our wedding. Due to the uncertainty of Covid and the logistics of planning a wedding amidst a global pandemic, we had multiple changes in plans and a number of special requests. Huge thanks to Manager John and Head Housekeeper Terrie who could not do more to accommodate us, and everything was absolutely perfect during our stay and we had the best time. Thanks a lot!

  Night away

  Lovely night away from home. The appartmentbwas spotless, the staff on the reception desk were warm and welcoming. The bed was comfortable. The view out of the appartment was a let down as we were on the ground floor looking out at a wall and the kitchen had a funny smell but after opeing the window for a bit this soon disappeared. Overall a lovely appartment. We howvere did not receive discount for car parking at the Light Q park even though the receptionist took our ticket and applied duscount.

  Noisier than expected

  I recently visited with my partner. We were given a ground floor apartment. The apartment was larger than expected and well kitted out- think this must be an accessible room. The location is ideal but our room was not the best if you want a good nights sleep. There was constant noise outside from people walking past and cars and vans throughout the night. I thought it was a quiet area and it really wasn't and hardly got any sleep. There was also noise from the room above, we kept hearing furniture being moved around but I thought the rooms were soundproof. I would not recommend this room so if you end up with it you should request to be moved unless you can sleep through anything.
