  Friendly, sea view but hard bed

  Arrived to a friendly welcome. Good start! We had upgraded to a Lovely room over looking the sea. A few little coffee shops still open. Great drinks and atmosphere at reasonable prices in the bar. After a very uncomfortable night in our huge but rock hard bed, we went for breakfast. Utterly fab cooked breakfast !!! Caught train to Exeter afterward for a spot of shopping. Lovely city! Only £5.25 return Great stay but with the beds so hard I wouldnt return sadly. Car parking is an extra £10 per night advise to book in advance as only 5 or 6 spaces

  Well worth a visit

  We stayed for 5 nights at the Manor Hotel during the Covid crises and we were made extremely welcome, were well looked after and felt safe at all times. The Hotel was extremely careful about ensuring all correct procedures were followed but at the same time ensured it didn't effect our stay too much. The staff were extremely welcoming and helpful we had a lovely room overlooking the seafront and the decor was exceptional. We are very happy to recommend a stay at the Manor Hotel to anyone who wants a relaxing enjoyable time away.

  Lovely friendly stay

  We stayed here two nights and had a lovely time. We made use of the paid parking space which was very helpful as the on street parking was full. We had a sea view room which was lovely in the sun and the rain. The room was spacious and clean, but the bed was a bit hard for us. COVID precautions were clear and we felt safe around the whole hotel. We made use of the bar and we felt drinks were very reasonably priced. The bar man was very friendly along with the rest of the staff. We had dinner one night which was good, plenty of options for a fussy eater! The breakfast was also great, we really enjoyed the sausages. Overall we had a great time.

  What a great place!

  I had the most enjoyable weekend staying at this wonderful family-run hotel. The staff are all incredibly friendly, it was immaculately clean and the interior is beautiful and very authentic with an amazing bar. The food was cooked to perfection and with some great wines to pair who can complain? Its also only located a 5 minute walk away from the sandy beach beaches of exmouth which are great for water sports as well as soaking up some sun (when its out). 10/10 would recommend.

  Great hotel of character

  Our room had a view of the sea, giving a full some show of its power. Nice to be able to open the window a small amount, to appreciate the wi day night. Close to town to get a tapas supper. Staff friendly and lovely breakfast!
