overnight stayWe had the opportunity to stay here on May 8, 2013. It was fantastic! I didn't appreciate the awesome breakfast because this was our first B & B, but it was the best of the trip. Monsieur and Madame made us feel very welcome; M. poured us a glass of his home made Calvados, from his own apples. I cannot recommend this highly enough.

excellent place in NormandyGood location. Hotel is situated in peacefull and quiet countryside, but close to all the places of interest in Normandy. Wellcoming, hospitable and very friendly hosts. And their dog is so cute. Breakfast was just something. And it was so different from usual breakfast in hotels in France. There were some specialities of Normandy, pate, salmon, chees, eggs, lots of tasty bread, jams and so one. Everything was as tasty, that we regret that we couldn't eat more) Rooms are excelent. It was very nice and interesting to stay in Manoir de Bray. One family own it for 200 years and one can feel all the history, traditions in the house. We felt there like in museum, but very comfortable and friendly museum.

What a Treasure!John and Angela were wonderful hosts. My husband and I enjoyed sitting and visiting with them in their picturesque lawn. We live in a rural area ourselves so we enjoyed the quite beauty of this setting. The house was a piece of history. We loved everything about it. The breakfast provided was the best we had in France. They had a large selection of food to choose from. This is definitely the place to stay if you enjoy being in the countryside (not terribly far from town) and want to stay in a historical home. John and Angela will make you feel welcome and extremely comfortable. If we are in the area again we will definitely return.

A Wonderful StayWe were delighted with our stay at Manoir de Bray an enchanting step back in time in a Manoir that has been in the same family for over 200 years. The house is nothing less than elegant and holds a huge collection of furniture, paintings, silver, porcelain, clocks, and memorabilia that have been accumulated by the family over that time. It is situated on a quiet country lane with cows grazing nearby but within a few minutes drive, roughly 5 km, of a village with a couple of very nice restaurants. The hosts are very warm and agreeable and will be happy to share a glass or two of calvados and talk about travels, politics, or whatever. And, the breakfasts are amazing I would say on this three week trip to different regions of France the best by far whoever number two was it was a distant number two. Regional cheese, regional paté, fresh, home baked croissants & chestnut bread, eggs, salmon, ham just to mention a few of the things available. The hosts familiarity with English is limited - but in our opinion if one has a basic knowledge of French Le Manoir is the place to stay in this area of Normandy. Etretat and Honfleur are within an easy drive and we would happily stay here again.
