  Check-in & Parking Nightmare

  Check-in is several blocks from lodging, no sign informs one of such, and parking must be on the street. Room was not yet ready at check-in time of 3pm. Very poor service. I would stay in Rico or another nearby town where they actually care about their customers.

  Great place to stay in Telluride

  We loved our room - very clean and great location. We parked and didnt need our vehicle until we left. Yes, the room is small but still plenty of room for the 2 of us. Short walk to gondola, downtown area and trails. The river trail right outside is so pretty.

  The Manitou - Great Location - Units Made for Couples

  My son and I stayed at the Manitou in room #5 from 12/19-12/24/2020 for a skiing vacation. The room was clean and as pictured online. The view of the mountains from the room is very nice. Its location for access to the slopes was great. Can ski right to lift #8 and the gondola station area. Also, you can easily walk to liquor store, grocery store, restaurants, and shops. Although the room has a maximum occupancy of 4, its really designed for a couple. In the photo, what looks like a bed on the first level is not much more than pad on the cover of a bath tub. So, my son ended up sleeping on the couch. Although not ideal it worked. The common area kitchen was clean and well maintained. The common hot tub was out of order while we were there and, talking to some folks who own a condo in the complex, we found out that its out of order quite a bit. So, if youre a couple looking for a clean place with good access to town and the slopes, the Manitou is probably a good place to stay.

  Manitou Lodge unit #1

  Definitely DO NOT stay in unit #1 as location is right next to front door & stairs. The relentless noise from guests coming & going unfortunately never ends. This is NO exaggeration, even at 4 am, guests coming back from the bars - extremely loud, obnoxiously drunk, yelling, slamming the doors, running up & down the stairs. Didnt sleep all night.

  Great location, great time

  Really loved our time at the Manitou Lodge. Great location allows you to walk everywhere in town. Parking was a little bit of a hassle but that's a Telluride issue. Room was small but worked for 2 adults and 2 kids. The common kitchen area and outside patio was a nice touch. The hot tub was also great and was put to good use. Lodging prices in Telluride are insane, this was a great value.
