  Good stay

  Booked this hotel as was coming to Blackpool for one night . On arrival which we were early .We were shown straight to the parking and welcomed with a very warm welcome . The couple were very friendly and couldnt do enough to help . As we got ready to go out we were told our room was ready , which was really good as we were going out for the day . Room was large as we were a family of 5 . Good nights stay would definetly go back if in the area .

  Pet friendly

  Really pleased Carol the manager she, was so friendly and welcoming, nothing was to much effort, sadly no breakfast, there are plenty of cafe's restaurant about, rooms are very clean small bathroom but only sleeping in room so no problems, good stocked bar.

  Disappointed

  We came here last weekend for 1 night, stayed in a family room which was £70 for the night, breakfast was not included , the Woman who ran the hotel was nice enough, the beds were cosy but there was no hot water in the morning for showers, we all had to have a cold wash, the TV remote didn't work and the bar wasn't open in the evening to have a drink and a game of pool, we only saw the owner when we first arrived but not after that, we did try ringing the bell in the morning for some help but no one arrived, the toilet/shower room wasn't big enough to swing a mouse round never mind a cat. This place just needs some TLC and attention to detail and someone there to manage the place and it would be really nice Hotel. Was in a good location though, next to Pleasure Beach and opposite the South Pier. There was parking at the back.

  Family stay

  We stayed here as a family of 4 and it was as expected. The room was clean with 2 double beds so did suit us and it has a good location. As mentioned in other reviews the toilet/shower room was tiny but at least we expected it. The beds were OK but we thought they needed new mattresses. We would stay again.

  Nice little visit

  We visited Manhattan for 1 night as we were visiting the Pleasure beach with our 3 year old daughter. We arrived earlier than expected and I went to check if it was ok, the lady who greeted me was lovely. Really friendly and helpful. She showed us where to park and allowed us to check in 2 hours earlier than anticipated. Our room was good enough, general wear and tear which for me is to be expected. And at £60 a night I really cant complain. The en suite was small but fine for a short visit. The bar was open until 12am if you wanted to get a drink and you could take it up to your room if you wanted to. It was a bit noisy during the night, but again what do you expect when your staying in a b&b with other guests!! It didnt bother us at all. We also had parking which is great. Owners very friendly couldnt fault them at all. Location is really good. I dont think we will return, purely because it wasnt 100% suitable for our 3 year old.. but would recommend to my friends with no kids! :)
