  Berovo Time Beautiful

  Excellent traditional food, beautiful rooms and cleanest air i have ever encountered in this amazing small town in the mountains. I sure recommend it to anyone who is interested to try unique kitchen and calm greenery with relaxing sauna option.

  BEST RESTAURANT IN THE REGION!!!

  Most amazing food in the whole region. Cannot complain about anything. Great service and quality This restaurant is a must visit. You cant go wrong. Berovo is a small place, but if you are into hiking, lake walks and all natural activities the you must visit. Oh ans also the fresh air! Didn't visit the hotel so I cannot comment on it.

  Great place, great nature.

  Great place, great nature, excelent food. Excelent staf, nice organisation, very peaceful. Traditional Macedonian building with traditional food and traditional antic exponents. Recommended to see the Berovo lake Pehchevo waterfalls.

  Review about "Sanja" at 200 meters distance.

  Rooms Sanja next to the grocery store. The Manastir was fully booked but they called rooms Sanja. Basic room and equipment. No breakfast but you can take it in the Manastir. Free Internet. Basic English knowledge but more than enough. FRIENDLY.

  Great if you are a company organising team buildings or workshops. Not recommended if you are a couple regular people.

  We visited the hotel for a chill weekend getaway. We booked a twin room, at check-in we were given a superior which was lovely. Rooms are great, spacious, well equipped, bathrooms are clean and new. Towels and toiletries are provided. I have visited the restaurat numerous times for lunch and dinner before staying here and the food was always perfect. Day one was okay, there were like three tables at breakfast and food was plenty. There were people for some kind of workshop - due to them sleeping in breakfast was prolonged till 10.45 at least-weird but okay. You can rent bikes for 2 an hour-great and cheap option. Reception didn't know if the road to the lake was in function due to reconstruction and didn't offer to check- so we called and checked. Not okay. Day two we were at the restaurant for breakfast at 09am. There was almost nothing from the buffet left, we waited for glasses to be out for 15min. After I finnaly found a personel and asked-glasses were brought out. Yay we can have water. But food that was eaten was never brought out. Sweets, salad, cheese - mising. One hour before breakfast time is supposed to end. So disappointing. Restaurant was full of loud youngsters and we were not having it. We got some eggs and bread and headed out on the terace-mid chewing a waitress came and told us food was not supposed to be eaten there. Couple of people from the workshop was eating breakfast there yesterday!!! Since they were foreigners probably personel didn't want to leave a bad impression and left them. But we are natives and are supposed to follow unwritten rules. When asked doesn't she consider rude to move us mid chewing since there is no clear sign "don't eat there" breakfast leftovers she said: my boss will be here any minute and she will yell at me if she sees someone eating on the terace which is coffee only zone. NOT EVEN A METER AWAY FROM THE OTHER TABLES. Mid eating we were obligated to move. Ruined our whole day. I'm pissed. So please call before booking make sure groups of team buildings are not there or you will have your weekend ruined. Spa is upon appointment, and you have one hour a day, steam bath was not working. If you asked yesterday if I would stay again I would have said next weekend! but after today I dont think so.
