  VEGANS AVOID! Lied to us about food options

  Went for sunday lunch with my housemates. Was promised, when booking over the phone that there would be a vegan alternative to meaty sunday lunch. When ordering at 3.45pm was told that the vegan alternative wasnt available until 4pm (contrary to what we were told over phone). No problem, my housemates ordered and I waited. Tried to order half an hour later and was told that because the kitchen was busy, there was no vegan food available until earliest 5pm. We would have left, but of course everybody else had already ordered food. We would have happily gone somewhere else if the staff had just told us there was no vegan option, no bother ya know. I didnt eat and left very hungry. Terrible service. Expensive. Dont bother with this over-priced rubbish!

  Fabulous Mama Shelter

  We stayed for 2 night in December and were blown away. Fantastic place and excellent value for money Staff brilliant. Food and cocktails fabulous .. so much so that we dined there both nights. Location perfect for Brick lane and Columbia Rd but very easy to hop on a bus to west end or to get south of the river Rooms perfect and clean . We really would not stay anywhere else again

  Fabulous Sunday lunch

  We were made to feel so welcome from every staff member we encountered . I cant tell you how much difference this makes to the customer experience. The food was great and so was the service . We had the bottomless Sunday lunch and although the portions were more than enough the staff were very happy to offer us additional food . Good choice of wine and cocktails . I look forward to returning next week ( tiers allowing !)

  Lovely settings, amazing staff

  I spend a weekend here and it was one of best hotel experiences! The hotel itself is beautiful, full of colors and entertaining. The restaurant/bar is excellent to chill and hang out with a nice cocktail and music. Staff could not be more attentive and nice, specially the girl in the reception of the restaurant. Didn't have the chance to try Sunday roast but looked delicious! Thanks for this weekend mama!

  Cool vibes

  We visited in December so we didnt get to experience the whole hotel but i can imagine how buzzing the place is on a friday evening. Room was great, felt like no one else had slept in there, everything was very clean. Fun staff who were kind enough to agree to a late checkout.
