Fab-u-lous
We stayed here for 11 nights in July 17 with my two teenage sons and had a fabulous time here. The location is great. The hotel itself was lovely; clean modern rooms with a great shower and comfortable beds, a big clean pool, a lovely beach bar (with excellent mojitos) and very friendly and helpful hosts. I would definitely stay here again if we return to Stalis. Thank you for a lovely holiday Maliotakis!

cute hotel but your have to pay for EXTRAS
I booked on Cheapoair which said the hotel was in Hersonaissis but it was in Stalis , far from our place where we wanted to be. The hotel is clean and neat , on the beach, but they give no shampoo, only change the sheets and towels once every 2 days. AND you have to PAY for air conditioning and the safe in the room. and I;ve seen better breakfasts for a 3 star hotel.

A Lovely Hotel....... But We Won't Be Returning
This is the first time we have stayed on a B&B basis in Crete, and based in our experience at this hotel, it will be the last. We arrived late afternoon. Check-in was without issue and we were promptly shown to our room. Our room was allocated on the road side (we thought 20 euro per night to upgrade to a seaview excessive). The room was spacious, bright and spotlessly clean. The bathroom although on the small side was perfectly adequate. The balcony was great for watching the world go by. The pool area again is kept very clean but we found the layout a little odd. We prefer to spend our days on the beach but were shocked that the hotel charges its guests 10 euro a day per couple to use it. We were obviously aware of other extra charges on booking this hotel. It is 49 euro per week for the air conditioning and 4 euro per day for the safe. The price of the air conditioning we can accept but the safe price is excessive. We have previous paid no more than 10 euro per week for a safe. For us the worst part of this hotel, and the reason we will not be returning is the breakfast. I was expecting a buffet style continental breakfast with the option of hot items such as eggs if required. On the first day I was speechless. We were offered tea or coffee, and this came with a small glass of orange juice and a basket of bread with butter and jam. Shortly after, a plate with our breakfast on it arrived. No one asked what we wanted for breakfast, and no consideration was given to vegetarians or people with food allergies and intolerance. It was like it or lump it. This continued throughout the holiday and it was always stone cold as if it had been prepared several hours earlier. This really took the shine off our holiday. We ended up just having the bread and went outside of the hotel for breakfast. This is something the hotel really needs to sort out. Stalis itself offers a wide range of restaurants and we were never short of somewhere to go of an evening and didn't have a bad meal all holiday. If you enjoy a good breakfast, this is not the place for you.

Lovely Hotel
Family run buisness everyone working hard, help is above and beyond! Very clean rooms modern facilities. Loads of good retaurants and shops around nice pool, real beach hotel. Continental breakfast. Recommend to anyone!

Fifth time in Stalis and finally found our favourite hotel
This ticks all the boxes. Nice large clean and modern room, beautiful balcony, perfect location, lovely breakfast and stumbling distance to the beach or the pool. We have tried four other hotels previously and always found something that prevented us from going back. Now we have found Malliotakis we no longer have to search, we will be going back. The family that run the hotel are so friendly and hard working. Thank you for a lovely holiday xx
