  Amazing warm and friendly

  Will be making this our regular getaway. Ken and daph make the trip worth it very friendly and inviting. We had Tuban ,it was everything we had hoped beautiful views . Close to montville and maleny. Couldn't ask for more on a weekend getaway from the city.

  Amazing - we will be back

  Booked for New Years for my partner and her family and it was absolutely beautiful. So easy to book and had no issues with booking two villas. Clean villas, beautiful location and so relaxing. Highly recommend this accommodation, will for sure be back. Picture attached is the view from the balcony.

  Lovely spot

  Spent a night here. It was absolutely lovely. The host Ken was very welcoming.We stated in the blue cabin and it was very nice. The views were amazing and it was nice and peaceful. Will stay longer next time.

  Absolutely splendid

  After the dogs breakfast the year 2020 was... it was a much needed retreat away from the crushing routine of the day to day, lockdowns, and mask wearing. The journey up the mountain and into the valley is an entree for the soul as you feel the stresses wash away. The friendly and discreet service at MTR is always pleasant. The setup is simply amazing. To truly enjoy, take a couple nights here basking in the serenity, sampling the local cuisine, and roaming the novel stores. Let peace fill your heart. The only down side is your stay always feels too short and one is hesitant to leave.

  Absolute serenity with a view

  Maleny Tropical Retreat is situated a few minutes drive from both Maleny and Montville. It was very hard to get off the day bed on the verandah as the view was so beautiful and tranquil. The spa was also hard to get out of! Two people can lay down and there is a tv straight ahead. This is the Nusa Dua king spa room which I highly recommend. We received breakfast for our 3 night stay - fresh Oj, yogurt and fruit were extremely fresh and yummy. There is a 2 head shower ( about 2.5 metres long) , kitchenette facilities and park your car on your own verandah. The owners were very lovely and welcoming (including Basil the dog) There is a fire inside for the colder months which would be cosy. On site there are bbq facilities- the owners can arrange bbq packs and picnic hampers on request. We got pizza delivered one night but with so many yummy places to eat and drink at it was hard to decide where to go. This room has a view of Lake Baroon. I will definitely be going back
