  Worst hotel !

  My husband and I have not been to a worst hotel than this one. To begin with, the hotel lobby heating system is not turned on so the hotel staff are in their winter attire indoors. When I asked about the heating , I was told that the area was too big to warm up, which obviously is utter rubbish, Thus, the breakfast provided was also cold on both days of our stay, and no effort was put to install burners to keep them warm. Also,a very poor selection of breakfast spread and not at all tasty. Next, our room heater had to be adjusted a million times( by us and by the hotel staff) and we had to wait for a few hours before the room warmed up. The bathroom door could not be closed, the water heater was not working and we were told to wait 10 mins a couple of times before the staff finally decided to move us to another room. Additionally, the room phone was also not working and my husband had to go down twice from the 6th floor to complain about the water heater. Great location yes, but Worst stay!

  Most friendly staff and great value for money!

  Instead of a hostel we booked this hotel. First few nights we stayed there with the three of us in one room. Absolutely great. Big rooms, balcony, fridge and super friendly staff. The week after we also stayed there with The two of us and still perfect. They have a lift, easy with the backpacks, and eventhough its across the bars, at night it's really quit!

  bad bad bad

  we got in about 7:00 pm and taken to the Hanoi style hotel. we had to wait about five min. as the person was on the phone to check us in. our room was about 3 ft. wider than our bed. one small window and lots of noise. at check out we had a hard time getting a cab.

  Very helpful staff

  I stayed here at the end of my trip around South East Asia and for the purpose of travelling to Halong Bay. I stayed at the hotel for 2 nights before my cruise trip and 1 night after. The staff member Mr Tin could not have been more helpful. He arranged a city tour for me, taxis and lots more! He gave great advice of where to go and what to see. Hotel is within walking distance of the Water Puppet Theatre and the main lake. The street food right outside is lovely and very cheap. The hotel is in the backpackers street so you should not expect 5 star luxury but the hotel is of great value; great location and clean rooms.

  nice room, good hotel

  Rooms were was made of wood and very clean.They upgraded our booking from standard to superior without any charge. Room was equipeed by computer with internet. Staffs were nice and helpful. They helped us to organise our tour to Halong bay and Tam Coc. Breakfast was good. thanks
