    Lovely appartments great staff we had some bother with other guests told the manager who immediately changed our room which was upgraded 1st class service from housekeeping clean bedding and towels every day.brand new pool . Thanks to Sheytan for getting us these appartments. Close to all the bars and restaurants but very quiet ideal for family's groups and couples well worth 5*****. Thanks for a great stay

    Great clean apartments

    Stayed in Maison for 2nd time in September 2019, having stayed there before 3 or 4 years ago. In my opinion it has improved since then with new pool and new bar area. The apartments themselves are in a great location right in the middle of things but just far enough away from noisy Bar Street. I stayed with a friend so we were out late anyway but if you want to go to sleep before 2am, you might struggle as 48 bar is just across the road playing music till 2am. Apartment was very clean and spacious and maid service was brilliant. Cleaned every day with fresh towels every day and bed linen changed every couple of days. Friendly staff at pool and nice snacks at lunch time. Would definitely stay again and probably will again in 2020.

    Great value for money

    We have just got back from a very relaxing and chilled stay at Maison 48 in Gumbet. The Good Points...... The apartments are immaculate and the pool area is really lovely and clean. The apartments have what you need for a self catering holiday and again they are very clean with towels and bedding changed daily and cleaning done daily if you want it. The are also a very good size. The staff are really friendly and we could not fault one if them, we even had a Turkish Coffee with the owner (that was an experience I have never drank coffee that you could practically stand the spoon in). The not so good points...... These are not really a negative (but could be to some people) however the negatives are out of the control of the apartments. There is a new bar across the road from the apartments which is very noisy from 10pm until about 2am, the owners of the apartments are trying to deal with this through the proper channels ie. Local goverment and the police. If you are a party animal then it's fine for you. Even though it is a negative we just got on with it by closing the patio doors and window. The location.....if you have mobility issues then the apartments will be no good for you as they are on a fairly steep hill which has quite a nasty junction on it. There are also lots of steps around the site so you will need to bear this in mind if you have an issue with mobility. Overall we had a very pleasant and relaxing stay and if we decided to go back to the area then we would book to go back to Maison 48.

    Amazing

    This was my fourth time staying here and I cannot fault it!! It is usually a bit quieter than other hotels and had a great location for restaurants and bars In the evening it is close enough to walk to the bars but not close enough to be disturbed when sleeping Staff are always friendly and will help with anything Rooms are cleaned every other day Will definitely return!!

    Disappointed

    After reading quite good reviews i was excited to stay here, soon quickly i learnt that it wasnt meeting our expectations. The staff are rude and miserable, i didnt see even a smile from one of them, we asked 1 night if they could call us a taxi and they huffed and sighed and said why couldnt we just find one on the street. Were new to the area and saw they have a taxi button so assumed it wouldnt be trouble. The rooms are dirty and not cleaned properly, your feet are black as soon as they touch the floor. The wardrobe door wasnt even attached to the wardrobe so when i opened it the door actually fell on me, which the manager laughed at and said he already knew. Half of the pool bar menu isnt even available. You can hear music till early hours of the morning so not good for light sleepers the only good thing about this property was the pool area, which was beautiful with a huge pool, but was lacking music. All in all i have stayed in SO many places in turkey and this is defintely the worst.
