  A decent place to stay

  We arrived close to midnight after finding the other hotels in the area full . We were happy to find anything . The price was reasonable and front desk person was friendly . The elevator reeked of smoke but our room was fine . The next morning the elevator smelled terrific ! The property seemed a little run down , but not bad . The only complaint I had was that our toilet tank leaked water , so it regularly filled all night . We shut the door and we were all so exhausted it didn't bother us through the night . We found it convenient as it was a nice area and easy to get back to St Louis for the Arch and baseball park .

  Large rooms at a reasonable cost

  Our room was one bedroom king. The kitchen/living area was large as well as the bedroom and bathroom. Each room had a TV which was nice and the bed was comfortable. The rooms are accessed by a FOB which is something I have not had with a hotel before and a code is needed to access the fitness center (which is another large room in the lower level). The internet service was very good. Some quirky things were the kitchen did not have any dishes in the cupboards but I did open the dishwasher and it had an assortment of dishes. I am not sure how long they had been in there but food was still on some of the plates and in the bottom of the dishwasher. The bathroom had a very small vanity for being such a large room. The bathroom also had a large closet in it. The hotel has hot breakfast (pancakes, eggs, biscuits) and the regular cold items. Breakfast did not have any peanut butter and the only jelly was grape. This hotel is a good value and is great if you enjoy having a lot of space in your room.

  Budget and way below par

  I booked a room here because everything else was full. After staying a few nights, I knew why. The room was spacious and inexpensive. That's the best part. The quality and cleanliness were poor. If my spouse was with me, she would have demanded that we leave. Upon arrival, I was told that they needed to see my driver's license. They immediately made a copy of my information. I told them that this wasn't acceptable, and they told me that it was their policy. I demanded to speak with a manager, and eventually forced them to tear up the copy. I even wanted the scraps back. Identity theft is real, and I don't need an untrustworthy staff copying my identity documents. If you want an affordable room in a low tier place, this is the spot. It's inexpensive for a reason.

  visit was pleasant. Large full size kitchen.

  The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast bar was average. I was there for a family reunion, accommodations were okay. It was clean with a full size kitchen so you could prepare your own food, if you chose to do that. We didn't but if I was not there for a family reunion, I would have.

  Just a weekend getaway.

  The hotel was amazing and by far met my expectations.The staff was friendly and we were able to check in early.The place was very clean and comfortable beds and etc.I only have 1 complaint tho.For $140 plus tax a night I do not think that we should have to pay $12pp for breakfast.Also they have a nice warm inside pool and a hot tub.
