  Good property for the price but a little out of the way

  The property was in an ok place as far as being near a supermarket. There are bus lines within a 15 minute walk that goes to the airport. Another train station is close by that goes to Frankfurt HBF, but make sure the tunnel construction has been completed. The hotel was nice and clean and the WIFI works pretty good. The bed was huge and very comfortable. And the bathroom was nice. The staff were nice, also. Parking is 5 Euros per day. There's no A/C.

  Its not in Frankfurt

  To be frank, no pun intended. You get what you pay for. I paid less than half the price to stay here as I would have done if Id elected to stay at a hotel within Frankfurt. For the price its very good. Warm at night, slightly loud guests but I cant fault the hotel for that. Staff easy to talk with and the option of breakfast if you like.

  GREAT for long walks along the Main River

  From the outside, the hotel looks old, and we wondered what we were getting into. Once we were nside, we were pleasantly surprised. It is a nice hotel, clean, safe, comfortable, fabulous staff, It is not anywhere near the airport, but we were not looking for a hotel near the airport. Located half a block from the River Main, we discovered that there is a great promenade all along the river. People stroll, walk their dogs, run, ride their bikes, You can watch ducks, people rowing, excursions boats, really relaxing and just fun. Further up the river we found - while strolling - a great greek-armenian restaurant where we had lunch twice.

  Basic, bit overprized

  The entire hotel is a bit outdated. No airconditioning in the rooms. On our first stay we at least had a fan an a fridge in the room. On the second stay we didn't. With outside temperatures of 36°C to 37°C is was very hot an uncomfortable in the rooms and hallways. The beds and bathroom were clean. Breakfast was very basic, not everything seemed fresh to us. Plus was, that it wasn't too far of the highway. And it was close to the boulevard at the Main, which was nice for a walk.

  STILL A GREAT PLACE!

  This is our second time at Mainbogen Hotel and this is still a great place! Basic hotel with good staff and the breakfast is AWESOME! The croissant here is one of the best I ate in my whole life! The Hotel is quite, friendly place! Good for any type of people! I just recommend it!
