Originally a Condominium Complex Turned Into a HotelYou can have a view of Miura Beach. Chiba Prefecture (not in the picture, but clearly seen by naked eyes) is very close from here. This hotel was originally a condominium complex and each room is like an apartment.

An experience! But one not worth the price. This is a condo turned into a hotel, with 'Viking' (all you can eat) buffet dinner/breakfast deal. We have had a few of these experiences in Japan and they have been pretty good. However, I could NOT recommend Maholova Minds Miura for the price they charge and the facilities they offer. Pros: easy one our trip on the train from Yokohama/Tokyo area 10-minute walk to the beach Free transportation to the train station on Sunday morning. Free transportation to Sunday morning fish market at 06:00 (for first 22 people) Nice view from room on 10th floor towards the sea Cons: old condo hotel. Smelly bathroom. Rooms have nothing in them apart from an electric pot to make hot (not boiling) water. Dreadful dinner location - packed, unattractive, noisy. Staff too busy to deal with the chaos. The food was OK though. Water park/pool is small and simple. Just about OK for a 5-year-old to enjoy himself for an hour. And it costs extra. Try to get it included in your package if you stay. Expensive - especially if you have a room with a view and stay on a Saturday night.

See Food and Eat itA big hotel with spacious and clean rooms. The onsen, hot spring, is relaxing with a separate bath for each sex. Try the massage chairs if you need to relax even more after the hot soak. The food is great, especially the fish courses. Well cooked, plentiful and, best of all, you can eat as much and try as many different courses as you want. If you are looking for a holiday where everything is laid on for you, go somewhere else but if walking and enjoying all that nature can provide is your bag then this will suit. Beach walks, wooded walks are all available but nothing should be too arduous. So to sum it up, have an enjoyable walk, return to the hotel for a relaxing onsen and then eat really good food before turning in for a good nights sleep. Wake up, get rid of the stiffness with a morning onsen, have the breakfast of your choice and go for another enjoyable walk return to the hotel................... and so on.

Perfect for groups of family and/or friends, but it's really out of the wayLove this place. What sets this hotel apart from most Japanese accommodations is that it offers all of the features and amenities you'd expect in onsen (hot spring) hotels--yet your room will be a giant suite with separate bedrooms. I enjoy onsen tremendously, but I often hesitate to travel with friends or family because you often end up in a tatami room where you end up sleeping on top of each other--or, even if the room is big enough for the group, there is no privacy whatsoever. Sure, I guess we could get multiple rooms, but that doesn't feel right in the onsen settings, either...because onsen really is also about spending quality time with your friends and family. This hotel offers a PERFECT solution! We (a married couple) stayed with my in-laws in a 2 bedroom suite with a living room and kitchen (no cooking appliances, though, besides the fridge and an electric kettle), and that gave us a sense of being at home--and we were able to enjoy sufficient distance as needed. For instance, when everyone was watching TV, chatting and drinking, I was in the bedroom, getting work done! I have never seen such a hotel in Japan prior to this, and this is such a wonderful feature. Now, with this said, the food is probably average for an onsen hotel, and I'd actually urge you to stay with the basic buffet. We paid extra for their kaiseki dinner one night, but I don't think the surcharge was justified. Also, it is a bit hard to get to from Tokyo, Haneda Airport, or Narita Airport. If you aren't driving, the Keikyu train is really your only option--and this is a commuter train, meaning that it can get quite crowded between 7 am and 10 am as well as 5 pm and 8 pm. So, if you have large luggage, you are likely to have a miserable time--although, as with everything else, Japanese people are generally quite helpful and kind...and they WILL try to help. Also, it is perhaps important to note that virtually nobody on their staff speaks English well enough to offer useful help. They are ALL friendly and polite, and they WILL try to help you. I was with a Japanese speaker, so this wasn't an issue--but we had to help foreign guests communicate a couple of times.

Amazing service with reasonable priceId visit this hotel with my big family, 8 person. They provide us with large room, I guess it same big as suite room in another hotel include buffet dinner and breakfast with very good taste of foods. Large onsen pool makes my family days out great. Near to train station and beach.
