  Noisy, hot and hidden costs

  I just spent 2 disappointing night at this hotel. Upon arrival were were told that it would be an additional 7 euros per person for towels- this was definately not mentioned in the booking- then shown a noisy room overlooking the main road. We had to pay another 20 Euros to get moved to a supposedly quieter room. Then we found out that to use the room safe advertised in the booking, it would cost an additional 7 euros and we had to sign a contract, which seemed ridiculous. You are also given a pack with sheets and have to make up the bed yourself. The rooms have no aircon and no fans are provided. As it was hot and stifling in the room - you are not near the water- we had to open the balcony door all night to get some air in, but got very little sleep for both nights as there are people out in the plaza below being noisy until all hours- The balconies are only separated by glass screens so you also hear every word from people staying out late on theirs. We had stopped at Hyeres to go out to the islands snorkelling but the hotel staff said they had no idea where we could go to book equipment or a boat. We ended up driving around and eventually found a dive operator right near the hotel, no thanks to any helpful advice. Given that this is one of the main activities in the area it was surprising they couldn't assist. The whole place is a bit run down and has these very long corridors that are pitch dark. The push light on ours didn't work and it was annoying and probably not that safe walking along in the dark-All in all too many hidden costs, hot and noisy and not good value for money ....I'd give it a miss.

  Find somewhere else

  Three emails not repied to so I eventually rang the booking agency to see if the place actually existed. Needs a complete clean and maintenace overhaul. A real disappointment given the lovely setting.

  High price low quality

  Resedence with extremely high quality and extremely low quality of almost all: reception, refrigerator, beds, towels etc. Reception members did not read our booking message. After this they demand me to change room and to make additional cash transaction.

  The perfect combination of price / quality

  The apartment has everything necessary for living and cleaning (even a vacuum cleaner). Excelent location. The nearest beach is 5 minutes by walk. If you have a car you can visit a lot of beaches for every taste. A lot of free parkings are close to apartments. Good market on each Sunday. Big Parc of attractions Magic World and Kiddy Park is 5 minutes by car or 20 minutes by walk. Supermarket Casino is 7 minutes by car. Hope to return :) P.S. Internet is expensive (EUR10 for 3 days, EUR 20 for a week)

  Nice efficiency suite

  We rented through Airbnb. The place was as described, very clean with a panoramic view of the Marina. The balcony was perfect for breakfast, happy hour and boat/people watching. Parking was free and a few steps from the building. It works great for two guests. We knew ahead of time that our host didn't provide wi-fi but the local restaurants didn't either even though we were paying customers. So we ended up going to the casino downtown to pick up some free wi-fi from time to time. Overall it was a very choice and l recommend it!
