OK, if a little tiredThe Maeva Residence Eden Park is about 15 minutes walk (up 'Lovers' Lane!') from the harbour, in a pleasant area. The grounds are neatly kept (but the grass is to be kept off), and there is a good-sized swimming pool (which we did not try). There is on-site parking. The rooms and decor are a bit dated - at least ours was. I do not know whether other arrangements are available, but our room had two bunk beds, and a fold-out sofa-bed (which stayed folded out for the week, as we did not spend much time there). It was not very comfortable. There is a TV, which gives only French channels (and no radio channels that I could find). There is a kitchen sink, dishwasher, full-size ceramic hob and a microwave. There is also a coffee percolator (being Brits, we had brought our own travel kettle), vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board. The toilet and bathroom are separate, and there is ample hot water. There is wifi, but not in the room. There is a good supply of plastic table and chairs for the balcony. I deduced from some of the notices that some residents may be permanent or semi-permanent. There is a small supermarket within a 10-minute walk. Over all, the place is clean and functional, but not really inspiring, and the reception staff are friendly. I cannot comment on value for money, as I was not paying the bill for our stay.

HorribleAs soon as we arrived, we noticed that the place wasn't really as we expected. The position is quite good but the rooms and the whole structure are disgusting. We booked a double room and they gave us a room with a bunk bed. The bed sheets had holes and they were also really dirty. Also the general cleaning was really bad. The wifi is not available in the rooms but only at the reception. As you can imagine there's a big crowd of people that stay there only for the internet connection. Don't trust to all the other reviews!!! AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU CAN!!!!

A great place to stay in St TropezThe residence is very convenient for the town, set in a lovely garden with a large pool and a roof terrace with spectacular views. The apartment was well appointed and perfect for our requirements. The Maeva staff were very helpful.

Must Like BugsWifi is only available in the public areas which are not very clean or comfortable. The staff has an attitude problem and their availability is very limited if you have any questions or issues outside of the normal business hours. We found bugs crawling on our linens that were located in the linen closet and we videoed this to show to management. They could not care less about our discovery so this must be a common occurrence. Also, parking is a pain with the need to enter a code every time you enter the property and there are these super inconvenient, metal parking blocks that can really damage your car and make parking such an enormous hassle. If you are on an extreme budget, by all means stay here if you don't mind bugs crawling on your bed sheets.

terribleSCAM ! appartments at Eden are terrible ! old, dirty, and very depressing. our appartment had a terrible smell from humidity and sewer. the local residents are old and sick people and the toerists want to get out of there as quickly as possible. we were misled by positive comments but they have to be fake because the place is not OK.
