  Quiet, Elegant, Perfection

  Ever wish you knew of a place to get away and just relax and clear out the daily clutter and all the things that distract you from achieving a quiet mind? This is that place. We've been back several times over the past few years and always want to stay. I even hesitate to review because I don't want to compete for access. Just, perfect.

  A Step Back in Time

  My husband and I stayed at this lovely little inn after the President's holiday on a M-T night. It was a welcome respite from the commotion of the downtown square and truly a step back in time. But, although it is visually like you are back in time, it must be said, that the road noise reminds you constantly of the present. The room was beautiful and had many period pieces for decor. The fireplace was an added bonus with wood provided. Our room had an outside balcony which was quite nice. I must add that the shower in our room did not work and so it was necessary to take baths. Also, for some elderly people, it could be difficult to get in the claw foot tub as it is quite high. And coffee is nearby but not in room. It being February, the pool was closed and the gardens were looking pretty shabby, save for some daffodils, so the most scenic spot on the property was the main house porch at sunset. The view is amazing. Unfortunately, the staff is gone at 5 and it was getting cold and no one was around to turn the heat lamps on. The restaurant was closed for M and T also so we got sandwiches in town and ate in our room. Breakfast was tasty the first morning but the 2nd morning was exactly the same and clearly, leftovers. All in all, I would love to come here again when the pool and restaurant are open.

  October Visit

  This a beautiful property and Brandy was wonderful. The breakfast was great. I would recommend this place to everyone. It was a great lo action just a mile outside of Healdsburg. It was very quiet and the view was fantastic.

  Relaxation Just Steps from Plaza and Vineyards

  We were 2 couples staying at Madrona Mannor in October 2020. We were 1 mile from the Healdsburg plaza and just steps from two vineyards. The property is large and the views spectacular! Our accommodations were very clean and super comfy! We spent time each morning walking the property before having a delicious breakfast on the veranda. Unfortunately, due to COVID restrictions, the Michelin-rated restaurant was closed however we look forward to going back when it is open again!

  Robbed of $427.50

  We made a reservation for late August 2020, but the California wildfires closed the inn and we had to cancel our reservation. Turned out we made a new reservation for September for the event that was originally in August. Because of COVID there was touchless check-in and check-out. When we checked out on Sunday, the receptionist said an e-mail would be sent with our receipt. I got it at home and found the amount to be charged shown to be correct. But actually they charged me double in October - $855! I wrote e-mails, made telephone calls, disputed the charge with my credit card company, but it turns out that they pulled to wool over my card company, and I am still overcharged $427.50. We will NEVER stay here again, and I urge everyone not to trust their accounting. This is pathetic. Makes me sad.
