  A surprise among the expensive gaints in this area.

  We stayed at Mac Motel this past weekend Feb 5 to Feb 6. I was cautious about the motel since it was a mom and pop type of place and not a chain hotel like we were use to. What a nice Surprise to arrive and the staff was friendly and very helpful. The rooms were actually quite nice. Very clean and comfortable. My only con was the firm mattresses. If you like a firm mattress you will love this motel. The price was really reasonable. I will stay here again. rather than the high price hotels near by. Loved our stay. Highly recommend you give this place a try.

  Unexpected but pleasantly surprised

  After having travelled for almost 12 hours we were very fortunate to find this place available. The landlady / manager was most helpful. We were pleased to find our room which had 2 double beds and very comfortable too, bath & shower. Lovely clean towels with soaps and shampoo. None of which I expected but was delighted it was all there. Television, fridge and coffee machine too. So impressed we booked a second night. Thank you

  Clangy pokey spring bed. No sleep.

  The bed was horrible. I was staying for 2 nights. In the morning I told the clerk at the desk that I couldn't do another night. She showed me two other rooms that had the same pokey spring beds that make a clang noise with a thump as the springs rubbed on each other. No I can't stay. One phone call the the owner said that I could not get a refund for the second night because I did not give him 24 hours of notice. Nice place......not!

  Huge potential

  We rode into town without a reservation but were lucky enough to get a room. The staff was nice and very accommodating. The room wasn't fantastic but the whole place has so much potential! Great for an over night stay and no pet fee!

  An interim place to stay while waiting for my permanent home.

  The manager Amber, who greeted me when I signed in, was very nice and she had the room very clean and organized. It was a nice 9 day stay and everything you need is in walking distance from this establishment as well! WiFi was a little slow at times but not really a problem. I would definitely stay here again.
