  Beautiful view, clean and comfy.

  Very comfortable room, comfy bed and really quite, no noise. Breakfast great. Wonderful view over the river with really wonderful bird life. The owner really goes out of hervway to be helpful and make it a great visit. Hascall the amenities, tea coffee etc

  Little Paradise

  The convenience of staying in the city and our bedroom looking out onto the huge garden with a river meandering toward the sea, was such a lovely surprise! Our friendly host Annetjie attended to our every need...even brought us the latest magazines to browse while birdwatching. Our highlight was the Crowned Eagle who visited one of the big trees in the garden! Add to this our spacious room, super comfy bed and fantastic breakfast meant we simply had to stay an extra night. We cant wait to visit again!

  Fantastic paradise!

  To be in a space so serene and refreshing leaves any person to reflect about not just life in general but also about the future. We couldnt have picked a better time to go and relax in East London. The location is easily accessible to the amenities and the beach whilst still being secluded and safe. The morning sun left us speechless as it rose above the terrain and reflected off the waters of the river. This made morning coffee a treat and not a necessity to awake! We loved the property and the room was tastefully and thoughtfully decorated. We loved spending time with our hosts and learnt much about the city during our stay. Annetjie and Günther makes it feel like home and still provide that holiday feeling. The perfect balance and the perfect place for relaxation and rest. See you soon again East London.

  Service in perfection

  Stayed for 2 weeks at Mackenzies. Enjoyed it all days. Beatifull sight out of the room. Very peacefull place to stay. The birds wake you up in the morning. Host Annetje and Gunter take good care of you. Took me to the beach, drove me to the mall. Did not have to ask anything, they allready offered me before asking. Great place to stay.

  Exquisite - cant wait to come back!

  Annetjie was a super host. Arranged an area for us to have a business meeting. The room and bathroom was beautiful and had everything we needed. Super clean and comfortable. The view and the garden is breathtaking! Breakfast was delicious. Value for money by far! We will be back!
