  Terrible staff, would never stay here again

  We are extremely dissapointed in our stay at Machima house. The rooms were fine and it's in a good location but the staff were rude and inefficient. We booked and pre-paid for a taxi to the airport on the morning we were leaving. We came to reception to find no one there and no taxi. after waiting for 45 minutes we had to rebook and pay again for another one- and almost missed our flight! The staff were not informative at all and pretty rude. would not recommend this hotel.

  Great value for the price

  The staff in charge is really friendly. They let me use their bike for free and recomend some good places or tours. Phuket town is not the best place to stay in the island, but still I will recomend this place.

  stayed for 2 days

  We were supposed to stay in nearby Pacific Inn but rooms were not available due to heavy rain damage. So we got an alternative accommodation here in Machima House. Everything was arranged by the Pacific inn owner so I cannot really tell anything about the staff (actually the front desk was mostly abandoned with "FULL" sign on the fron desk). But the rooms were OK, the front room a bit noisy. Only cold water but since the weather was hot we did not mind. Fridge in room was nice bonus.

  Great location, great staff, great room

  Room was very spacious and very well equipped with a huge fridge, dining table and kettle. Our room was round the back of the building which meant no motorbike sounds, we also had our own huge balcony, admittedly there wasn't much to look at round the back was it's always nice to have some outside space even if it's to hang your clothes out to dry. Room was very comfortable, comfy bed, hot water. It did feel like home away from home. The owner was very helpful with giving us information on various places to eat and information on day tours which we could take. Would definitely stay here again, good find and only 15mins walk into the old town where the Sunday market is held.

  A warm and friendly welcome

  Stayed at Machima House for two nights and I would highly recommend this hotel. As soon as my partner and I spoke to the lovely lady at reception we were met with a warm welcome and beaming smile. The rooms were very clean and a nice, spacious size for what we were paying. The bed was super comfy as well and the WiFi was good. Bathroom was clean, sizeable and the shower was great! The lady on reception was so kind and willing to help us with our requests such as checking out early, printing a ticket for us and sorting us a tuk tuk for our journey out. We cannot recommend this place enough, no complaints at all and suited us for our purposes
