  Un pequeño paraiso

  Llegar a este hotel fue una de las cosas mas hermosas que me han pasado, esta situado en un lugar unico, rodeado de bosques virgenes, el lugar es como para olvidarse del mundo, se respira paz y naturaleza por todo el complejo. El servicio excelente, todo el personal se desvive por hacer que te sientas muy bien. Las habitaciones muy comodas y dotadas de todas las comodidades, muy limpias, muy amplias. Destacaria el edificio mas antiguo del complejo, un verdadero encanto para los amantes de las antiguedades, se mantiene practicamente igual que en sus origenes, un precioso lugar.Estoy segura que si lo visitan quedaran prendados de este idilico lugar.

  Perfect 2020 Wedding Day

  We booked Lythe Hill in 2019 for our 2020 wedding and like all other couples, what a year we've had. Lythe Hill provided us with the exclusive venue we wanted and a very good value wedding package for our 80 guests. Come March, we postponed our wedding until October and Lythe Hill were so flexible and accommodating during such a stressful and upsetting time. We were able to spend even more time planning our second date with a reduced guestlist and Lythe Hill made us feel comfortable and still made the process special for us. Eventually we brought our date forward with only 3 days notice, when the rules changed again and the team were again professional and accommodating to what we wanted. Despite the government restrictions, Lythe Hill worked hard to enable us to have the day of our dreams and although we sacrificed a lot of our guest list, we didn't feel that we lost out on our wedding day. Lythe Hill made our day so special and we were so lucky to be able to get married there this year. Jane and Lily are fantastic - they really helped deliver our day and made it everything we hoped it could've been.

  Beautiful venue thats perfect for weddings with  great food and top quality staff

  Our wedding at lythe Hill was an absolutely amazing day, after an entire year of ups and downs with coronavirus restrictions being changed we were not sure our wedding would even be possible. The venue is absolutely beautiful and the whole of the look and feel of the venue was spot on for a modern wedding with a vintage feel. The wedding co-ordinator we dealt with mainly was Lily and she was an absolutely amazing person and was able to help at every step of the journey, her help was even more valuable to us when the coronavirus  restrictions changed continuously, lily was always able to answer any questions we had and most importantly took the time to answer them accurately. She helped to guide us throughout the process from start to finish and was always on hand to help when needed. The rest of the staff at the venue were as equally amazing. Jane was extremely helpful on the day of our ceremony and helped to make sure that our ceremony ran as smoothly as possible, Veronica in the restaurant was super friendly and extremely nice when serving us throughout our stay after the ceremony. Zara was super friendly and was really helpful when serving our meals for the wedding breakfast. On the evening of our wedding we were had amber and Richard looking after us and they were absolutely amazing. There was any issues at all that they were not able to help with from taking pictures to allow us to keep withing social distancing rules to helping keep guests drinks topped up without having to have guests waiting for drinks, their friendly attitude and extremely helpful nature helped to make our wedding day as good as it was. The restrictions from the government guidelines were a concern to us as we were not able to have our original day that was planned however we were able to arrange an amazing custom package thanks to lily. I would like to thank all the staff there and those behind the scenes who we didn't see in person for helping to make our big day as amazing as it was. I would definitely recommend the venue to anyone who is looking into it for their big day.

  Disappointing ...

  Weekend away for my birthday. The place its self is beautiful, gorgeous setting however the stay itself was less than desirable - we wont be staying again. The Spa temperature throughout was cold making it un-enjoyable to lie around the pool and the beds we did sit on (for less than 5 minutes) were wet through. We dipped our toes in the whirlpool - it was freezing. When we asked the spa team was it meant to be warm/hot? We were told no, its a whirlpool, its not meant to be hot. The pool also was freezing, no warming up even after a length or two ... Dinner was disappointing - ordered a Caesar salad; lettuce and soft boiled eggs were so cold it felt like that had come out of the freezer. In contrast to the piping hot chicken. Tasteless really. Ordered the full English for breakfast hoping it would be better, however again it was inedible. The whole plate was luke warm at a push, the bacon was grey, hugely fatty, all served on cold plates. I didnt eat it. The room its self was spacious and the bed was okay. The shower was cold (it seemed to be the theme of the stay). What I will say was the whole venue was Covid safe - masks worn everywhere, sanitising stations throughout and the staff were very friendly. I did have a massage whilst there and that was really enjoyable, the highlight for me. But overall disappointing and will not be returning.

  Gym and pool

  I have stayed at Lythe Hill before, its such a beautiful setting and large pool. I booked a gym and swim day pass for today and it was great. I went in the afternoon and had the gym to myself, very clean with plenty of equipment. The team are always so friendly and helpful too.
