Perfectly locatedThe best thing about the hotel is its location: right in front of the piste. Just put on your skis and off you go. Make sure to get a room on one of the upper floors. On the first floor there is no view because a sauna has been built right in front of the rooms blocking the awesome Matterhorn view. The bar really needs some redecoration, and so does the dining area. Dinner was ok but dont expect culinary treats: the food is a bit average.

Perfect location - friendly personnelWe stayd a week in this hotel in March 2019. The location of the hotel is as perfect as it can be in Breuil-Cervinia, right opposite the Cretaz lift. it takes you 2 min to walk over the street to the lift. There is no other hotel closer to the lifts. The room was comfortable and spacious (for a skiing hotel :) ) with good lighting and a balcony. The bathroom was clean and equipped with a shower and a bidet. Buffet breakfast was very good: eggs, bacon, tomatoes, cucumber, cereals, bred, croissants, fruit, yoghurt, cakes etc. Four course meal was included in the room price as well, and served at 19:30 in the evening, which is typical for the area, but a bit late for us coming from Scandinavia. The hotel is run as a family business with different generations present and they are all very helpful and friendly, and speak good English. We are determined to return to this lovely skiing hotel in Breuil-Cervinia.

Small cozy hotel near ski liftMy sister recommended me this hotel, only a few steps from ski lifts. As she said it is important to make an early reservation. The hotel is clean, the family running it is very friendly and professional. We had only breakfast included and have eaten the dinner in different places in the small town so can't say anything about other meals but the breakfast was very good.

Great location and good value but noisyThe best thing about this hotel is the location, right opposite the bottom chair lifts and next door to the ski hire and ski school. Staff are friendly and Beatrice, the owners daughter, is especially helpful. If you want a quick and easy dinner, the food is ok, nothing special. Breakfast is quite basic, with plain croissants running out in the first hour or so. Drinks are reasonable but I didnt like not being presented with a bill each time I ordered something, being told it would be added to the room bill. My main gripe is the loud music which the owner played on a huge, new tv in the bar / reception area. When the music is not on, he sits and watches Italian tv which is again very loud. The reception area has been modernised but lacks atmosphere. A nice open fire would be great, but its very modern and a bit plastic. Walls are particularly thin as others have mentioned. Avoid the first floor if you can. Despite booking about 10 months in advance, we got the first floor rooms which were noisy in the evenings. Rooms were very hot at night.

Nice small hotelWe stayed at hotel lyskamm for one week half board with our 2 children. Its a small family run hotel which we particularly liked. Great location with ski school next door and chair lifts right opposite. If you want to use the gondola though its a bit of an uphill trek. Rooms are sufficient and clean. As per other reviews the walls are very thin. We stayed on the first floor and could hear noise from reception and dining room so if possible I would ask to be higher. The hotels is quiet and bar shuts when everyone is in bed which is usually early so wasnt too much of a problem. Dinner is a starter, a 2nd pasta choice of 3 and then again a choice of 3 mains which is usually meat, fish and vegetarian. Some of the main courses were not mine or my childrens taste, we are not keen on veal or rabbit. But as there are so many courses there was usually something we all could eat. Dessert was choice of ice cream, cake, fruit and then dessert of day which again was enough to please everyone. The only thing I would say that could be an improvement would be a salad bar. The hotel likes you to make dinner choices at breakfast which is not what I usually like to do but can understand. Breakfast is more than adequate, fruit, cake, eggs, cheese, ham, rolls, bacon, yoghurt, croissants, a help yourself buffet as much as you want. The family who run the hotel are very nice and accommodating. We did use the jacuzzi once and were able to order wine, was lovely to sit there watching late skiers come off the slopes then warmed up in sauna. You do have to pay 15 Euros per person tho which can be expensive for a family of four. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
