Little gem!Just back from a long weekend. What a lovely place in a lovely area - Montpellier is just lovely. Breakfast in the room was lovely too. Hand saniters and socially distanced welcome. Would highly recommend staying here.

Perfect , comfortable , safe .. with lovely staff. We stayed in the Tivoli room. Very comfortable spacious accommodation. Covid safety was very evident with hand sanitizer available at all points of contact. Breakfast ( continental) safely served on a tray , all beautifully boxed up every morning. Plenty of team and coffee and biscuits provided in the room . We made our own bed ( our choice ) and felt that the staff were doing all that they could to make our stay safe and comfortable. There is a short walk to Montpelier with shops , restaurants and bars. Central Cheltenham is only a 15minute walk away so its a perfect spot for a stay. Highly recommended.

Visiting CheltenhamWe booked to stay on 14 & 15th September 2020 and when we arrived Petra was very helpful and let us check in early so we could head off and enjoy a full day in Cheltenham. We stayed in the Tivoli room which was comfortable and clean and had a huge TV on the wall which was positioned very close to the bathroom door but it did not hinder our access. There were tea and coffee making facilities with a range of tea and coffee but these were not to our taste which was a shame but this is just our personal preference. However the kettle cable was plugged in at the side of the dressing table in front of the window and could have easily been knocked off when opening and closing the curtains as the curtains were draped over it. This should be looked at. One of the bedside lights was broken and the shade hung to one side. Although the lamp worked this is a safety issue that needs attending to. The doors to the small wardrobe were extremely noisy so a little bit of lubricant would be helpful. In front of the wardrobe was a rug on floor which kept moving on the new carpet which was a trip hazard and needs an anti slip backing fitted. Each morning we had a continental breakfast delivered to our room and whilst this was generally ok we would question the quality of the ham which was very thick and looked processed so we couldn't eat it. Our biggest issue was the car parking. We unknowingly parked our car under a pine tree and our car was covered in large droplets of sap which took an eternity to remove when we got home. This must be a problem that the hotel are aware of and should be advising customers accordingly. Having said all this the hotel is in a very good location close to town and its amenities and for what we paid it was value for money
