Quiet hotel with spotlessly clean rooms and a very nice breakfastLorraine and Graham are very nice hosts who work very hard to ensure you have a good stay. They socialise with the guests in the lounge bar and make everyone feel welcome. The hotel is very quiet, no doors slamming or noise from adjoining rooms ,being an old building the walls are very thick! I enjoyed my stay andI would happily stay there again.

Teignmouth Holiday .Had a great time in Teignmouth and our hosts Lorraine and Graham were brilliant .I would highly recommend staying at Lynton House as it is ideally situated on the sea front and close too the town centre .Our room was very clean and the view from the window was superb . We have never been to Teignmouth before but will certainly be going back again .

Clean and very very datedoutside was not very inviting, flaking paintworks, broken hotel sign. Very dated on entry, dark and dingy. Room old fashioned with very small shower cubicle with not much pressure in the water - sometimes no hot water, the sink was very small and loose and plastic consetena door for shower. Bed very old and springs were uncomfortable - made a noise if you moved. Only good thing was the view over looking the seafront, breakfast was good, apart from a comment of a guest coming in at 9.10 to be brassly told breakfast is 830 till 9, and if only the man taking your order listened correctly to what you asked for, i got things i didn't asked for even though it was wrote down. Asking for tea and came with coffee instead. I only stayed 2 nights and the bin wasn't emptied at all in my room or the hot drinking facilities replaced. I got the feeling from a passing comment from a lady that any kind of complaint wouldn't be taken kindly. The friendliness seemed forced as though it had to be done just for the doing part of it. Lounge bar as it stated on door open from 9pm, very dated mis match of seating - dusty board games thrown on a piano, bar area untidy and lots of old childrens toys thrown into a corner, not a relaxing environment. Mixers for drinks warm and not chilled, owners were there in the lounge bar but rather look on devices than converse or speak with guests, I had one drink and left. My first visit here and will be my last, the only 2 good things was the view from my room and the price. You really do get what you pay for.

Perfectly located seafront B & BMyself, my husband and my 8 year old son all stayed here for 2 nights as we enjoyed a short break away. Normally we stay in Dawlish but we decided to stay in Teignmouth this weekend. The B & B was perfectly located on the seafront, no there isnt free parking but there is ample parking available for reasonable cost at the point car park a very short distance away. The hotel is an old terraced building with a 12 rooms, but as it is so big there is no need to worry about noisy neighbours as we didnt hear anybody else. Breakfast was beautiful - we chose a full English breakfast each morning and there was cereal, fruit and yoghurt available in addition. The owners couldnt be more attentive, and they really did make a fuss of our son which was lovely. We stayed on the top floor, yes a lot of stairs but well worth it for the view! And the room was large, clean and perfect for us. Thank you for making our stay wonderful!
