  Limpio y tranquilo

  Es el hotel mas limpio que he visto en mi vida. Desde que llegas te sientes un poco en casa, la situación es perfecta para explorar Kendal y alrededores. El personal es muy amable y atento. Habitación muy cómoda.

  Gem of a place

  Have just arrived back from a lovely short break in Kendal, which was made extra special by our stay for 2 nights in this great little b & b. Picked here on the strength of all the reviews and have got to say they are not wrong. This place is so quirky and individual made even more special by the landlady Yvone and all the little extras she puts in to making your stay whilst there extra slecial. Thanks again Yvonne we will deffo be back xx

  HOME FROM HOME PERFECTION

  Stayed for 2 nights at this fabulous Guest House, Yvonne is the most amazing host and makes you feel so welcome when you arrive, we had a double room on the first floor which overlooked the street and the river, room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, plenty of tea and coffee and the most amazing shortbread and cakes made by Yvonne herself, nice little en suite with a walk in shower and lovely shower gel and shampoo etc, bed was comfortable and nice pillows (I have a thing about pillows!), ten minute walk from the town centre which is really lovely and very lively in the evening, plenty of places to have a drink and bite to eat. Breakfast at the hotel is great, loads of choice and Yvonne cooks it to order so its piping hot and fresh when it arrives, there are lots of lovely little personal touches about the hotel, Yvonne obviously into crocheting but this hotel is so welcoming you just feel "at home" there, lovely place to relax for a couple of days, really quiet of an night, very little road traffic, I would highly recommend a stay here and if we are ever to return to Kendal then we would certainly stay here - thank you Yvonne for making our stay so lovely and thank you for the anniversary card and little cake for our wedding anniversary

  Quirky guesthouse....

  We pair enjoyed a great weekend in the Lakes staying with Yvonne at Lyndhurst. The guest house is pretty standard lakeland B&B in lay out and style and is distinguished by the quirky crochet decor and the commitment to eco friendly accessories and toletries. The bed we had in room 6 was king size and extremely comfy....just whats needed after a day on the tops. Breakfast has extensive choices and portions are huge for carnivores and veggies alike. Yvonne is an ebullient and charming host, she was great fun to be around and clearly enjoys working in her business. Lyndhurst is on the edge of the town and everywhere is a short walk away. Perfect weekend in a great place!!!

  Guest houses as they should be

  Had been staying at a national chain hotel and decided to stay extra days. We found Lyndhurst on trip advisor and as we were in town decided to turn up at the door. Luckily we did as we were greeted by a surprised but instantly friendly Yvonne. Having decided to stay we were allocated a room at the front of the house overlooking the river which was very comfortable and the home made supplies of cake and biscuits were very welcome. The breakfast had to be pre-ordered the night before but this just helps Yvonne prepare a fabulous morning meal. As well as the usual full English a plentiful choice of cereals and endless toast and drinks were available. Yvonne is so friendly with lots of local knowledge and suggestions and is great host. We will have no hesitation in revisiting if ever we return to Kendal.
