HorrendousWe stayed at this hotel over the Easter period weekend which at first checking in we were greeted by the owner Tina who We first thought was very friendly and welcoming. After a great weekend with our friends we were ready to pack up on the Monday to leave to head back home to Northamptonshire. We loaded our car up which was parked right outside the Lyndene Hotel on the front. We loaded car up and handed our keys back to Tina who knew we were going to go back into Skegness town with our son for another couple of hours before heading home. When we got home we realised we had left some of our sons belongings in the Hotel so we done no more and called Tina the owner and explained we had left them in our room. On speaking with Tina she did admit that we had left our sons toys ruck sack and two new coats in the room. She told us that she tried to contact us which was a lie as we had no phone call from her from leaving the Hotel to getting home to Northampton. She then said as she could not get hold of us and seeing our car still outside her Hotel she then said she put the belongings on our wing mirror car (HA HA HA ) thinking we should see the goods when we returned to the car but unfortunately there were no bags there when we did return. We would of thought Tina would of kept the goods in a safe place or put a note on our windscreen to let us know we had forgot the bags. Our son was devastated that he lost his toys two brand new coats(bought the day before ) and his good new ruck sack that was bought for the weekend away. I am appalled and disgusted that this Woman can run a buisness this way by hanging valuable goods on a wing mirror (thats if she did) i would never recommend this Hotel to anyone as their trustworthy and their liability towards their customers was outrageous. If you ever go to Skegness never trust this Hotel.

WellBooked here after being let down by chantry villa. Looks nice on the outside, came with 2 mates our first room we had a double bed and a single and what we thought was a sofa bed. Definitely wasnt a sofa bed so we paid £13 to upgrade to a 4 bed room. Staff were really nice and friendly but the room was just awful, dust all over the place rubbish left about from previous users of the room, the beds were very uncomfortable and I couldnt stop itching. The shower was awful, hairs all over it. £145 for two nights for 3 of us with no breakfast either (I get its self catering but still) really isnt worth it, not happy.

AwfulI booked a room with a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub outside the room and we were checked into a room without a balcony and without a bathroom with a bathtub. The owner in a conversation said that now this room is not heated and used so we have another. It's not fair because we didn't expect it and we didn't pay for it. If they don't use this room now why they have offer it? In addition, the heating does not work today, so the room is very cold. If you have a choice choose other accommodation, we will definitely not come back here.

A stay Into the past1.One positive is that Lyndyne did not throw old furnitures away but would be at least worth cleaning DEEP ! OR GIVE THEM A THROW. Kitchen was ok good for cooking in, big plus Warm, not dump space, cosy Nice, tidy, clean I do not know bathroom with warm shower, small but the best relaxing part of staying here Beds were there but for my standard no no no spring mattress not spring freshness Dust in invisible spaces_but I see them, AWFUL IT was a cheap stay, but I always look for more in hotels _to unwind- think IT over and next time I may say sth else Thank you a lot for what you have offered
