  The hotel is fairly clean and staff are willing to help although most do not speak much English. The hotel was very quiet whilst we were there, possibly the only guests at times. During the day there are lots of children around as it is some sort of school. This wasn't a problem for us as we were out and about all day. Short walk to the temples, bars and a night market so for us an ideal location. If you are staying here definitely visit Mixology (cocktail bar) just turn left as you leave the hotel. For trips I would recommend Gail and her cat, she can be found in a little office on the same road, just turn right as you leave the hotel. Great few days in Chiang Mai!! Would recommend this hotel if you are looking for a cheap stay.

  Un hotel básico para conocer Chiang Mai.El wifi funcionaba bien y las camas eran cómodas.Nuestra habitación estaba limpia y el baño estaba correcto aunque algun otro estaba mas sucio y con algún desperfecto.No tienen ascensor y el aire acondicionado es algo ruidoso pero en general confortable.Algo negativo podría ser que fue de las únicas zonas de la ciudad por donde deambulaban algunas ratas.

  Para ir en plan mochileros esta bien. No tiene desayuno, pero tiene una especie de cafetería allí mismo. Ofrecen agua en ls habitaciones. Personal se defiende en inglés a duras penas, son bastante indiferentes con los huéspedes en el sentido que no suelen saludarte ni ponerte buena cara. Nuestra habitación tenia la ducha rota, tuvimos que reclamar dos veces hasta que por fin nos cambiaron de habitación. En resumen, para dormir y ducharse está bien, la decoración no está muy allá, pero cuando vas en plan mochilero es lo que menos importa.

  not the right side of the square

  on the ground floor there is a restaurant, staying in the hotel you pass the restaurant to the elavator. we stayed here 3 nights, the room was big, clean and a huge bed. and very quiet. the bathroom is basic but there was warm water. this hotel is just inside the square of the old town, but other years we stayed at the opposite of the square, and there you can find all the nice, cheap eateries ed.

  Basic hotel in Chiang Mai old city

  Basic clean hotel at west of Chiang Mai old city (Suan Dok Gate). North of airport. 15 minutes from airport. Easy access to anywhere.Many local foods and western food nearby. Left and right side same row with hotel.The hotel signboard very small easy to missed.Light snack cafe behind the reception.
