Clean and well locatedThis 3-star hotel is very good value, we got a rate of EUR 35 for a twin room just dropping by at the front desk with our luggage. Rooms are cleam and with enough space. Bathroom is ultra-clean. Staff is helpful though they speak little english. Breakfast is OK but almost entirely chinese. Location is excellent, very close to Long yuan station which is the terminal station for the Maglev train from Pudong Airport. I do recommend it to anyone staying in Shanghai for the night before flying back home.

Tourists Stay Away from this HotelMy family stayed at this hotel after reading the last positive review. However, this was a bad choice. The hotel should have been rated more like a 2-star hotel in appearance and cleanliness. Also, there are no non-smoking rooms and the room smelled very strongly. It was very warm in the room and the windows can't be opened and the air conditioning did not work. very well. But the worse thing about this hotel is the location was not very good. It is in the back of an exhibition center and there are absolutely no restaurants, stores, or markets nearby. It was even hard to take a taxi from this hotel unless you call one from the hotel or walk 15 minutes out of the exhibition parking lot or pay the exhorbitant rates of one of the private drivers waiting outside the hotel. And the train station that is supposed to be so close by can only be reached if you walk about a half hour and cross an impossibly wide street. 2 times. We ended up taking a taxi to and from the train station. Although there was a large selection of breakfast food, the breakfast was not very appetizing. I found little rocks in my vegetables which made me wonder if it was washed properly and how clean the other food was. I can't even recommend it for the price as we paid almost $100 US dollars. Overall, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless you need to go to the exhibition center which is right next door.

Good for business, not for tourismThis hotel is located near the convention center, we were going to a show there so it was great location for us. So if you are going to do business this is the hotel to stay. Now, it is very far from the center city, unless you are willing to walk to the metro station (15 min) or take taxi everyday to get to downtown. The staff english is very poor. The rooms are big and clean. For the price you cant really ask for more. Be aware of the taxi from airport !!! make sure taxis always have the meter. Do not pay without the taximeter. We got ripped off we paid over $100.00 from the airport when it should only cost you $30 or so.
