  Very disappointing

  We booked the hotel because of its reputation of quite a high end, luxury spa hotel. Unfortunately the expectations were not met at all. A few days passed and I have calmed down, so my review will be as factual as possible. I hope it will help people choosing and maybe a hotel to improve. Starting with a few good things: + Hotel is brand new + Rooms interiors are nice, beds are great + All is clean and room is made every day + Staff at breakfast was friendly and supportive What was bad: - Welcome was just terrible. I did not find the reception staff friendly. - We were made to pay the stay in advance (never seen it) - We have been asked to leave our passports for 30 minutes - no way! They requested to make a copy of passports (bizarre, but ok). In front of us, the receptionist started looking one by one EACH page of the passport. It was long and terribly unpleasant. It's sort of private document...In the end my husband demanded it back, but the girl was running after him up to elevator. Like we are criminals or something. Unacceptable! As we were explained after, they wanted to submit information about foreign tourist to wherever. And they were looking for an entry date. Why not explaining from the beginning and ask to show the right page? - There was a super noisy wedding in the hotel. Rooms are far from being soundproof - Breakfast was crap. Coffee is bad, food is lying there in open dishes since early morning and gets kind of dry. Assortment is poor, service is slow. - At 7 AM (after quite a long flight before) we were woken up by a cleaning lady, opening the door with the key. She did not remark Do no disturb. - We ordered a bottle of wine to the room to relax. Glass of wine, bath, you know... In the most romantic moment, the waiter came back, asking for payment immediately. Reception did not charge a deposit on our room - we were not even asked! They refuse charging on the room, even though they had our card details. - The last but not the least. The view. Needless to say that no one informed us about that or apologized. I don't want to appear too demanding, but when you claim a 4* best spa hotel, this kinds of things are simply unacceptable. Service makes the difference, always. And it was simply not there. As well as the respect to guests. Pity!

  Fantastic!

  Stayed for a week. Great service, fantastic rooms, first class spa and salon, very good restaurants. Impressed by breakfast , really good food. Reception is very helpful. Define try will be back on my next trip.

  Amazing Spa Hotel

  This new hotel is dedicated to wellness. The spa is incredible. With a dozen different spa pools to massage and relax. Beauty salons. Massage. Steam rooms. Healthy option floors and restaurant. A pure retreat. There are also excellent fine dining and roof top restaurants. Our room was modern and spacious. The hotel is curved by design. Quite a different experience from anything we've stayed in before. I had a Thai massage which was great. My fife went to the beauty salon and loved it. Staff are all in white spa type clothing. Hotel is close to the main boulevards and a variety of restaurants and bars

  Amazing place.

  Stayed for a second time for 2 weeks. Great location, very friendly stuff. Absolutely wonderful spa and salon, first class. Good service in restaurants and bar, tasty food. I liked breakfast a lot( a la card). Everything was very fresh. This year not very good housekeeping service, room needs to be more detailed clean, especially bathroom.

  Amazing thermal spa zone

  I stayed with my husband for a few nights. It was our second time in Luciano and the main reason we normally go for this hotel is their amazing thermal spa zone. The room itself is good. Very plain as we like it. Elemis toiletries were a nice surprise this time. Breakfast is always excellent. The choice of dishes is extraordinary. Overall I would recommend this hotel.
