  Loyal guests since many years

  For our ski holiday we choose many years back Schruns as our winter destination. After lodging at the Alpenrose and during the refurbishment at the Zimba hotel we return regularly to this agreeable place. After the refurbishment we were worried that a new type of clientele will overtake the previous right mix of families and ski lovers, but this, to our opinion did not take place. After a full day skiing, we enjoy the swimming pool and resting in the great SPA area, finding always something attractive to do. The food in the restaurant is still fine. Maybe more Austrian specialties could be served and a little bit less of overworked dishes. Its a pity that the hotel has discontinued the tradition of offering Coffee & Cakes in the mid-afternoon, this was a great opportunity to meet other guests and after skiing to charge a bit the batteries till the dinner. Personally, I am a strong believer of an authentic, simple cuisine away from complex combinations of tastes and colors. Service is also still very attentive and friendly. The wine selection is also fine with lots of local wines to choose from. A nice touch experienced some years back was on the last day to find our car in the parking lot with clean front and rear windowsmaybe another tradition to restart.exceeding customer expectations .

  Ill be back!

  This is without a doubt the nicest hotel weve ever stayed at in over 35 yrs of global travel. Our room was a perfect size very nicely appointed with a wonderful balcony that faced the mountains. No doubt the highlights of our amazing stay were the staff and the dinners. We opted for the plan that included both breakfast and dinner and enjoyed two awesome experiences. Our waiter Anton was super friendly and knowledgeable, especially wine. Lastly, the spa facilities were another major bonus. Cant wait to visit again.

  Best hotel an absolute must

  I do a lot of travel around the world and this is my second stay at this hotel. The service is exceptional, the rooms are of amazing quality and the amenities especially the spa and pool are second to none. This has to be my favourite hotel in the world, I would come here even if it wasnt for the amazing skiing on the door step Being my second stay they have proven they are consistent. Honestly hotels around the world should come here to see how to run a quality establishment. The Loewen Hotel wins my number 1 spot As a side note dont forget to try the restaurants. The Stube is well worth the money

  Bike Holiday in Montafon

  As a returning guest it was overall again a nice stay at hotel Löwen :-) because of COVID the hotel just opened, but did so far a good job especially because of the short preparation time. The room was nice, but the balcony was compared to last year very very tiny. It would also be nice if there would be a place to dry washed biking clothes. The rooms and everything else are very clean and the food delicious!! See you again Ps: unfortunately there was no special welcome gift as said for returning guest :-( probably forgot it.

  Very nice hotel

  This is a very nice hotel in a nice village too. Staff is friendly, the hotel is clean and has implemented the covid19 measures very well. We were surprised this was not the case in all places that we visited in the area. The rooms, reception and bar area are very nice too, the dining area however does not match this style and feels more like the dining area in an elderly home. Breakfast and diner were at a good standard however not the standard I was expecting for this price level. But to be clear there is absolutely nothing wrong with it. All in all a very nice hotel which is just a bit too expensive for what you get. Btw, if you hand out a home made snack at departure, make sure it is fresh and not dry as a cracker ;)
