Lowhall FarmTracey made us very welcome on arrival, room and house clean and warm. Gardens well kept and lawns neat and tidy. Excellent views over estuary. Tracey even went out of her way to get gluten free sausages for my partner so that we could both have an excellent full English breakfast. Would definitely recommend Lowhall farm. It is a working farm so must be aware of animals and their environment. We will definitely book this delightful bed + breakfast again Thank you Tracey x Ken + Lynn Kirk

Fantastic Caravan siteHighly recommend - we went for a family break, stayed for 1 week on the caravan site and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The views are stunning, lovely quiet site with lots of space, clean showers with hot water, excellent location for visiting the area-we managed Coniston Lake, Windermere, fantastic walks locally enjoyed by all the family including our 6 and 8 year olds! Beautiful beach in next village and shops locally if needed. Tracey was brilliant, helpful and friendly. We will definitely return.

Fab Place to Stay For The Coast & The LakesLow Hall Farm is one of those places that you rarely chance upon. You go with average expectations but it exceeds them in every way. It is located on Duddon Sands in between Barrow and Broughton-in-Furness situated in tranquility away from the traffic but within a mile of a never-closing shop and one of Britain's quietest Railway Stations with lovely journeys to Barrow and Carlisle, albeit not very often. The 3 bedrooms are huge with the extra bonus of a lounge with Sky TV. Breakfasts are also fab, served freshly cooked on plates that may well have been warmed up at Sellafield, 25 miles up the road! Tracey, the hostess, is a font of all knowledge and can't do enough to help. Stay here! You'll save money on the more grandiose but less spacious hotels in the tourist traps. You're 30 minutes from Coniston and about 40 from Windermere. Ulverston (a must visit town) is 15 minutes away.

Few days at lake districtI cannot say enough about the quality of this beautiful farm house and caravan park. I stayed in the farm house and everything was just perfect! Due to roadworks in Kendal I arrived late and Tracy was there to greet me. The house is immaculate, the beds clean and very comfy, breakfast first class and Tracy goes the extra mile to ensure people enjoy their stay. I was lucky as I asked for an extra night and Tracy accommodated me but the place filled up so glad I gave her the extra notice. There is so much to do in this area e.g boat trips round the lakes, lovely walks and climbs, pretty villages and great shops. The views are spectacular all around the farm and indeed the whole area. If you want a nice quiet place to stay near a lovely little village (where everyone waves and acknowledges you) then Low Hall is the place. Peaceful yet close to all the attractions the district has to offer. Thank you for a wonderful stay on my first trip to the area since childhood. I will be back Tracy.
