  They dont own the beach

  Over the years I have stayed at loves at least 4 times for approx. 12 to 14 nights in total. The location is good and accommodation has always been acceptable. ( I am not so picky and understand this is the Philippines) This year I visited and ate in the restaurant. Prices were high compared to everywhere else. O.K. They have a nice location. I crossed the property to access the beach as beach access is limited. I was kind of accosted by an employee there telling me I cant use that beach because it is Private She was not nice about it at all. The fact of the matter is is Loves does not own the beach. It belongs to all Philippine citizens. DENR, (Department of Energy and Natural Resources regulations specifically prohibit private ownership of beaches with-in at least 6 meters of the mean tide line. It may be more. A lot of their facility is built over the water and much of it is with in the protected zone that is not allowed to be built on. It is bad for the environment and violates explicit DENR regulations. Be aware if you stay there you are helping to destroy the environment and promote elitism and the taking of natural resources away from the people and privatizing the natural resources that belong to the people of the Philippines. You guys have a lot of guts to declare that this is your private beach. Yes I crossed their private land. But dont tell me you own the beach. I ate in their restaurant the day before and as stated I have stayed there often. I encourage anyone who cares about these issues to boycott Loves. Maybe a visit to the local DENR office would be helpful.

  nice place with clean rooms and reasonable food

  On the waterfront with good furniture and nice lay-out. Pretty landscaping, parking on site at least for twowheelers. Food is alright but average menu, no brewed coffee and limited breakfast items for breakfast included. No complimentary drinking water, but sari-sari store is 30 meters away.

  Charming and Relaxing

  I was pleasantly surprised. The staff was super friendly. A nice quiet relaxing atmosphere. Breakfast is included. Can eat in their restaurant or there are additional restaurant choices within walking difference. No safe in the room, but there is a bolted down lock box. A great place to stay on a scuba vacation. Simple charming and relaxing atmosphere run by friendly staff. I would recommend Loves and I would stay here again, next time I visit Moalboal.

  Really awesome dive shop and boat

  Really good team with brand new equipment super reasonable price and good the boat is not too big so its never going to be overcrowded it was just me and the dive instructor jess (my fiance doesnt dive) but she was able to snorkel on the boat with us! Highly recommend

  Accommodating Friendly Staff, great amenities,child friendly, great food, amazing customer service

  This save my family's day yesterday. It is upsetting and disappointing to be transferred from one accommodation ( with poor service experience) to another. Albeit, they saved my family's distress yesterday. I never regret my last minute booking at Love's Beach and Dive Resort. They have the friendliest and most hospitable staff. The resort is relaxing with the beach just in front. They accommodate my family which composes of my 2 toddlers and my 2 senior citizen parents with their great customer service. They have great food and the resort is child and family friendly. Highly recommened and will never hesitate to book again.
