  Really Rural.

  We stayed two nights together with two other couples in the 3-bedroom cottage. One bedroom has ensuite spa-bath/shower. The other two bedrooms share the other bathroom also with shower and spa. The cabin is very well appointed and clean. There is a fully functional kitchen with stove (no oven) microwave, bread toaster(s) pots and pans and a nice BBQ outside for all sorts of culinary activities. No washing up as there is a nice dishwasher. A wood stove (with fan) raises the temperature quickly on cold mornings. For hot weather there is an arco unit in the wal. The bedrooms are not big but big enough to move around and the beds are comfortable - with electric blanket for cold nights. The cabin is right in the middle of a 9 holes golf course which we would call "rustic and full of obstacles". It makes for a challenging and fun round of golf. And don't forget the heated pool and tennis court. Lots of opportunities for lots of activities. Mobile phone coverage is marginal and so is the WiFi signal strength. So it is an excellent place to forget the mobile or other electronic toys and relax. The location is right in the middle of wineries and restaurants.

  An absolute gem

  This is the second time staying at Lovedale Cottages and this time we brought some friends with us. We stayed in a two bedroom cottage and this was perfect for two couples as each bedroom has an ensuite attached to it. I cant stress enough how much I love staying here. The cottages are rustic, the views of the surrounds are incredible and it is just such a relaxing and peaceful place to unwind for a few nights. The cottages are quite far away from each other so its extremely private. I have stayed at a few different places in the Hunter and this is by far my favourite. Paul and Rosie are really generous with the breakfast they offer. We received an ample amount of eggs, bacon, bread, juice and milk and there is also cereal available. We enjoyed seeing the chickens and rooster outside our cottage, playing tennis and golf and just walking around the property. After three nights I wish I could have stayed longer but we had such an amazing time. We cant wait to return. Thanks so much for having us.

  Old World Charm with Rustic Quirkiness at Lovedale Cottages

  We just loved the whole place! The furniture. The fittings. The mini golf, pool, tennis court. The wild life. The love and care which has clearly been put into the cottages. We cant wait to stay there again.

  Great stay and fun times

  Stayed with some friends and had fun with the cottage dog and chooks that came by to say hello. Quiet area in the middle of the winery areas. Everything was supplied regarding linen and towels including fresh eggs in the fridge on arrival.

  Absolutely quite and always love to visit

  I was in this place and i love this place cant wait here to be again nice playing stuff around we loved playing long tennis and golf around there live the hen moving around feels just like home in overseas.Quality time spent with family
