  Back in USSR

  Although my memories from USSR are quite vague, I had a strong deja-vu feeling after spending a night in this hotel. There are several things which are positively different: the staff is friendly and polite, free wi-fi all across the hotel, AC in the room (although useless in October). Other than this - a standard Soviet hotel, which is not a very big compliment. In particular - the room (and everything inside the room) is very small and not really comfortable, walls are thin and do not isolate any noise, the breakfast is an average Russian breakfast. Another advantage for me was the location two steps away from the railway station. At the bottom line - it is reasonalbe for an overnight stay on a business trip, not more than this.

  for R&R this hotel do not do the job

  working in a distance of approx. 80 km. outside the city, where there are no restaurants, bars, ect. I went to this hotel for having a relaxing weekend and in the hope of having some social life at the hotel, but as one has written, this hotel is ok if you only are looking for a place to sleep, the bar is poor, on the 8th floor there is a room, called a cafe/restaurant I went there ordered a bacon sandwish and a seafood Salad, the bacon was uncooked, the bread dry and Cold, and far from beeing a sandwish. the seafood Salad came with no bread, and was something they had taken out of a tin, but the bear was OK. So if you go there for having a social life forget about it, it doesnt exsist. So NeXT time I am going for an R&R I will find a hotel closer to the city centre. I cant ofcourse not blaime the hotel, that I didnt do my home Work, making sure they had want I wanted. But the girls in the reception was very friendly and smiling. The bar man or boy, he should be sent on a bar manager course, he wasnt a good experience.

  A Nice Affordable Hotel

  Located just near Ryazan-2 train station, the hotel is a good solution for a business trip. The staff is very polite and professional, the rooms and public spaces are clean and well-maintained. The breakfast was very good too. All in all a nice hotel offering a good value for money.

  Fair service for reasonable price

  Stayed 2 times there, fair price, nice rooms. Very good breakfast and polite reception personnel. Was a bit confused with payment for parking, but 150 rur is not a big deal. Very good location - easy to drive in and out of the city.

  back to the sad past

  Old hotel. Carpets everywhere, small rooms with old forniutre and microscopic bathroom. Even the TV is a small cathode. Surprisingly the wifi was working very well. Breakfast poor but accettable. The staff at the reception very polite and smiling (very good!!). Private parking.
