  Stayed at hotel for 3 nights 2 march to 5 march in a party of 10 people.rooms fantastic.staff fantastic.( sheena and francis ) First time saying at this hotel have stayed at royal astor in past Will be booking again for same period next year..

  Aweful dont bother.

  Booked for a family of four for £650 for five days. Hotel is very dated and not very clean. Wallpapers were bubbling and peeling. Were stuck in a very hot loft room with four single beds. Bed covers stained and torn. No kettle provided so with a baby this is vital. Asked for kettle and they were rude and refused to give us one. Our friend asked and we finally got one. Were told there was parking although what were were not told that Thursdays and Saturdays the carpark turns into a market and if your cars are there they are impounded. This cost us £400 euros between us to get them back. The hotel does rent parking spaces nearby but only two. The hotel is clearly rasist to the british as we heard hotel tell french, Dutch that there is a parking pass available which we were not told. I will not use this hotel again and would advise anyone against it. In the UK you would pay £20-£30 pound a night for this kind of room.

  Average Hotel, Parking on website misleading?

  Booked on line and asked to reserve parking. Parking on the website is described as free. Having a new car I wanted it to be secure. When we arrived we were told that this referred to a large municipal open air car park about 10 mins away. They had reserved one of two spaces a few minutes away in a secure car park, but this would cost 15 euros, we could cancel if we wanted, but I wanted security so had to pay. The space is only suitable for certain cars, as there is a overhang. The room booked was a standard, not one of the refurbished, realised that this meant dated as described by others. It was clean and basic. Did not have the breakfast.

  A find

  We chose this hotel on line and knowing nothing more than the website told us. We were very agreeably surprised to find ourselves in a charming hotel, well run and perfect in all respects with a comfortable bed and good bathroom. The staff are friendly and helpful, the bar is comfortable and the location very convenient for central Ostend. The Louisa also provides an outstanding breakfast, they really try hard.

  so impressed

  I was in room 25 from thursday until saturday the last weekend. The location, price and facilies were good. There are a couple of points i could raise..1: central heating was off at night when it was cold and 2: because i could only eat 2 items from breakfast [bread and bacon], instead of the lardons of bacon, a few full slices would be better but i think thats a personal choice. The room was really comfortable, The staff we so friendly and helpful. Looking at bringing parties to the louisa later in the year. I have already recommended the hotel to other people i know. Guide760033 needs to really get a life. His review was disrespectful, unnecessary and a waste of time reading and believing.
