  Pleasant stay- 3*

  Just returned from 8 nights at labranda hotel. All in all had a fabulous holiday and did really enjoy the hotel, however some serious issues I would address: Pros: Stunning views Pool was lovely and peaceful and could always get a sun bed Food was fabulous, lots of choice, as a pair of vegatrians felt there was good choices and plentiful options Great location - few minutes in a cab to beach/harbour A lot of Friendly staff Cons: Paid for all inclusive, on arrival reception explained this is soft all inc which meant only food, soft drinks. Local beer and house wine. Had to pay extra to all spirits and all cocktails Had issues with the safe in the room, front door would not lock, took 4 days before bedding was changed and that was after my partner called reception to complain. Some Male staff abit over friendly Got hassled every day when collecting towels if we wanted a massage. Drinks over priced Entertainment was supposed to be twice a week, Wednesday and Fridays. Wednesday was a Turkish male, mediocre. Fridays singer was cancelled so the only entertainment we saw in 8 days was the 1 Turkish singer. Very poor entertainment Struggled to sleep each night as sounded like a gun going off outside our bedroom window every night repeatedly. For such a lovely hotel I feel if the all inclusive contained spirits, the entertainment was MUCH better and rooms cleaner then this hotel would be close to 5* As you can see the cons outweighed the pros, that said we did really enjoy our stay and the views were to die for. The pool was stunning and food was lovely With some improvements this hotel could do very well.

  Harrassed by the hotel manager!

  This is my first hotel review and I felt obligated to write this as a public notice. On my second day of stay I was harrassed by the hotel manager Oktay who verbally attacked me and walked over me. Yep, this incident can be a good candidate for Ripley's believe it or not! While going to the pool, I walked into the gym to check out the exercise machines. Hardly 15 seconds passed when someone ran inside and began yelling at me. Shocked, I tried asking him why he was shouting. He kept shouting at me and going on about how I'm not supposed to exercise with slippers. I tried telling him (he doesn't listen and keeps shouting) I walked inside the gym just to check out the machines, and wasn't that ignorant to exercise with slippers. Unbelievably, he kept shouting at me without listening about how I wasn't supposed to exercise with slippers. I stayed in better and worse hotels in Turkey, Europe, and the United States and never experienced such a horrible treatment under such an unpleasant circumstance. Once I realized that it was impossible to communicate with this person who proudly announced that he was the general manager of Loryma, this hotel was nothing more than a huge zero for me. He doesn't know how to talk like in a polite way let alone a hotel manager. Unfortunately I prepaid for two weeks and I didn't want to waste $1200+ worth of money without an option to cancel my booking. The rest of my stay I continued to feel threatened by the rude manager, who kept strolling around me on the hotel grounds, and I was ready to place a call to the local genderme if I needed protection as a woman traveling solo. I used the hotel for eating dinner and sleeping at night only, and spent my day on Turunc Bay eating at the restaurants there. I will never forget the treatment I received by the so-called hotel manager Oktay, and it's my obligation to announce this harassment I received as a woman. In any case, the gym was like a furnace without any air conditioning and I wasn't able to use it anyway. The water running in the room is salty, so get ready to shower with salty water during your stay. One day there was a water-cut, and following that we had muddy water running in the showers and the sink, so we had to skip shower and brushing our teeth that day. There were lots of black flies and bees in the restaurant, making it difficult to eat. One day I had to kill a bee on my own as the hotel staff doesn't seem to care about this problem in the restaurant. The restaurant was also like a furnace, so you sweat while you eat. The plates and glasses are often dirty and greasy, so make sure to check them out before using them. The food overall wasn't that great. One night there was a plastic wire inside the slice of cake, and I politely gave it back to the waiter without making a big deal out of it. The shuttle bus is overcrowded, making it a hassle to go to the shore. I had to use a taxi many days with my son if I didn't feel like fighting the crowds trying to get on the bus. The shuttle bus driver Ercan is swearing a lot, so you're better off if you don't understand Turkish. Finally, there is no wifi in the rooms and the wifi offered in hotel's public spaces is unbelievably slow. So good luck if you rely on wifi for business. Overall, the hotel staff is unprofessional. It's no secret that I'm not going back to Loryma. Oh, of course, nobody even bothered to offer an apology to me!

  Three days eacape

  The hotel has amazing scenic view, hotel have walking distanve from town, you can easly walk from hotel to towncenter and you can do good scenic walk. If you dont want to walk you can use taxi (20 tl), public minivan (4 tl/each) and shuttle bus (0). My best choia is walking :) Pools are so cold and all inclusive wines are not good enough

  Nice Hotel

  The location was very good. The shower was very small but the room was clean. Dissapointed that there was no evening entertainment and no curtosy room available after check out. The food was nice and staff friendly could do with a re vamp but otherwise ok

  A fortnight on my own

  This was my second stay in Turunc, but first to Labranda Loryma. I travelled alone. I do agree with some previous comments - it seems more receptive to German and Russian guests, and the accommodation is quite basic for a 4 star which should have a courtesy room at the very least. They could put on some more shuttles because there was no queuing system, and lets say some nationalities are not respectful of queues! It would be good if they responded to pre visit enquiries. I asked about an airport transfer but got no answer so organised my own. I asked not to be on the ground floor as I was alone. I was put on the ground floor with a window with no hinges so I either had to leave the window wide open at night or swelter with it closed! The male staff at the reception were not very helpful when I asked to change rooms but the female staff were, and eventually I did change after some days and was much happier. I dont agree with comments about lack of entertainment. Id suggest you stay nearer the centre in a big all inclusive hotel with spirits included if you want that. Why retreat to the isolation of a mountain if you are not looking for peace and quiet!!! I really liked Loryma. The accommodation is spread out in smallish blocks and the rooms are clean. The gardens are well maintained and the views are wonderful. The food is fresh, varied and really nice. Plenty of choice and even more temptation. Vegetarians are well catered for. The restaurant staff work hard and are very attentive. The pool is a good size with plenty of sun beds both around it and further away in quieter and shady spots. Loryma appears on most websites but there are so many room variations that it can be confusing and sometimes misleading. For example a lot of the kitchenettes have been removed from the rooms with the change of ownership. Not so much a fault of Loryma but of information flow to the portals that you book on which say they have kitchenettes. If you have an issue, Bilge, the manager is usually near to hand and appeared very very efficient at dealing with them and her staff in order to sort them out. Its February 1 today and I find myself planning a trip this May, taking a friend with me this time. So obviously I recommend Loryma to people wanting a restful, healthy and relaxing time. I shall book soon do hope they notice my room request when I book this time!! I am looking forward to my next visit.
