  Fantastic

  Went here a couple of times for the day. It's small but quite beautiful and very relaxing, being quiet and peaceful. Chairs and parasols very reasonably priced. There are some craft huts but didnt visit them. The Pineapple Beach Club next door seem to have a lot of water based facilities on offer too.

  Great Beach Day, we did the Lawrence of Antigua beach tour!!

  I had been to Long Bay Beach years ago, it has always been one of my favorite beaches on Antigua, we stopped there last month on Lawrence's Tour it's a classic Antigua beach, white sand beautiful water and views were incredible. Nice beach bar and cool little vibe it was not only nice getting back to Antigua but if you don't have a problem heading to the other side of the island Long Bay Beach is the place to go. I'm planning my trip back already. I can't wait to go back. Later Todd

  Beach time.

  Beach lovely, part is where Pineapple Beach Resort is. Reef bleached and suffering. Few fish to see. Best to snorkel when winds from the south east. Beautiful area to walk and swim. Huts with souvenirs to browse through. Bar and restaurant nearby for food and drink. Locals there renting beach chairs, umbrellas and water sport activity.

  Awesome Beach

  Did a private city tour around Antigua to check out some sites and see a few nice beaches while staying at Starfish Halcyon resort. This is one of the best beaches with crystal clear picturesque water! Few vendors on the beach and a cpl restaurants/bars

  Nice Beach But Beware of Sunbed Vendors

  Long Bay Beach is a lovely public beach situated next to the All Inclusive Pineapple Beach Resort. The beach is not all that long but it is great for small children as the water is relatively calm. Since part of this beach is "public", you are able to bring your own chairs and umbrellas. However, be aware that the company who rents out sunbeds and umbrellas have some questionable business practices. We drove 45 minutes to get to Long Bay Beach and arrived at 9:30. The spot we were hoping to use was under a large sea grape tree. However, when we arrived, there were four of the rental sunbeds side by side under the tree that were not being used by anyone. As this is a public beach and these sunbeds had not been rented out to anyone, we placed our chairs under the tree behind the sunbeds. Shortly after, one of the staff approached us, clearly agitated and told us not to move the sunbeds as they were "reserved". We reminded him that we were sitting on a public beach on our own chairs under a public tree and that if he wanted to "reserve" this spot, he had many umbrellas that were still available. This staff member then spoke to us in a threatening tone to leave his chairs alone. These vendors have no business reserving chairs for people under a public tree on a public beach when they have their own umbrellas readily available to rent out, then threaten other beach goers to not use public space. Clearly some employee(s) are exploiting customers and charging them a premium price to "reserve" a spot for them under a shade tree when they should be using their own umbrellas.
