  Un auténtico desastre

  Lo primero de todo es que no hay nunca nadie en recepción. Tienes que llamar por teléfono o enviar correos. A nosotros nos dieron la habitación número 1, es una habitación infernal. No es cuestión de que sea pequeña, tampoco de que se le caigan las barras a la cama, o que la habitación esté semi-limpia. Es cuestión de que está situada encima o debajo de un generador. Un motor que no para de funcionar 24 horas al día, y el cual varía su intensidad de ruido de muy molesto, a insufrible. Solicitamos una solución al personal por teléfono y nos dijeron que estaba lleno y que mucha suerte. Ni nos reubicaron, ni nos hicieron un descuento, ni ofrecieron alternativas, ni nada de nada. Simplemente fue un "si no os gusta podéis marcharos". Francamente lamentable. Sabíamos que Londres no brilla precisamente por sus hoteles, pero tampoco que no encontraríamos con este desastre. No sé cómo serán el resto de habitaciones, pero si no te queda otra que quedarte aquí (no te lo recomiendo porque es caro para lo que ofrece), niégate rotundamente a que te den una habitación en la primera planta, y sobre todo la número 1.

  Fine budget stay in a convenient location

  Well, to begin with, the suites are in a good location and there are many places to grab a bite in the vicinity. Conveniently placed metro makes it pretty fast to get to the city centre. The bed is comfy, it has a great shower, nice TV and a fridge. Bad sides are that there were only two glasses and the sink was a bit small to wash them. Ambient lightning is a great idea, but the staff should check the remote for batteries here and there. Air conditioning was satisfactory but the walls are a bit thin so you might hear other people coming and going. Not that it will ruin your stay but you will certainly notice it. All in all, I'd give this apartment 3.7/5 :)

  MUY MALO Y DESAGRADABLE

  La ducha no estaba mal pero lo demas sobraba y faltaba sitio, ademas no nos hicieron la habitacion, y como es un sitio sin personal. La verdad es que no se cabia dos personas en la habitacion desagradable.

  Good location, not dreadful, STEPS, STEPS, STEPS

  This is not the Marriott but the suites are in a good location directly across from the Stepney Green metro station for quick access to where you want to go. It is convenient to Efes Turkish, Sweet coffee shop, Sainsbury and Co-Op groceries, Half Moon Pub and many other places to eat/drink. The room was compact but comfortable; bed - comfortable; shower - fine; TV, fridge and heat worked fine. The "down sides": the steps. We were assigned a room on the top floor, the steps were steep and had sharp turns. It was not easy getting our bags up and then back down. If that's the only problem, I think you should give it a try. It was clean, dry, and warm. I was happy to have a bed at a reasonable price!

  Pleasantly surprised - lovely room... shame about the noise from the road.

  Having read some of the other reviews, I was braced for an 'interesting' evening but like to try things for myself. I was pleasantly surprised. The room itself was clean and bright and I was delighted to discover a fridge, microwave, crockery, cutlery, table with chairs and an electric fan. I pay the same sort of money for a tiny, windowless Easy Hotel room with none of those. It's just a shame about the location. Yes - it's handy for Stepney Green tube station but blimey Mile End Road just is so busy / noisy. The noise from the restaurant below died down at about midnight but the traffic noise went on pretty much all night. I'm a seasoned traveller with very good ear plugs but some of the 'interesting' exhaust pipe choices of cars and motorbikes going past meant that sometimes, I could hear and even feel them going past!
