a relaxing stay, stunning view, excellent local and international cuisine and very classy ambience and top serviceThis hotel was suggested by a former colleague and he was indeed right. I was given a very comfortable sea view room, and the view was indeed stunning as you can see by the photos The view from the terrace of the restaurant and lounge is also very pleasant. Major highlights are the high quality of the dishes served at the Caprice Lounge Restaurant, the very high customer orientation of all the personnel. The full series of the new Years' eve dishes was also impressive in both quality and presentation, but as a short primer yet by the Italian and Cypriot cuisine dishes photos a clear idea of the level can be grasped. Last but not least, the fitness room was well equipped.

Understated luxuryWe booked a two-week full board package covering Christmas and the New Year. The hotel is smart, clean, restrained décor, with polite and unobtrusive staff. Our sea-view room was large, with a 2 metre wide bed, the bathroom with shower over bath was large and well kept although looking a little tired. Housekeeping was first class with regular changes of linen and towels. The á la carte Italian restaurant had a reasonably wide menu, and all the dished were freshly prepared and well presented with very generous portion size. The wine list was reasonably priced. The range of items on the buffet breakfast covered all tastes and there was the option to order special items from the menu. During our stay very few rooms were occupied, so there was plenty of unobtrusive attention from the waiters, who quickly learned our preferences. It was too cold to use the outside pool and facilities, but we did enjoy the sauna and steam room, spa pool, and small indoor pool. There is a cheap transport into Limassol Old Town with busses every 10 minutes during the day and stops in both directions within a few metres of the hotel. Although very few of the rooms were occupied, as other reviews have mentioned the bar was very popular with well-to-do locals. For the New Years Eve gala seven course meal and subsequent celebrations the hotel was packed with British ex-pats, noisy, great fun. I don't think I've ever seen so many party props, by two minutes past midnight the floor was ankle deep in glitter. BUT As a teacher I was told to always suggest three possible areas for improvement, so here goes. #1 The serious. On two occasions during our stay the restaurant was booked for private functions in the evening, so we were given two choice for dining, EITHER the veranda which was open to the elements on one side, probably very nice in the summer, but not suitable for a cold, dark and stormy December night, OR a table set up in the bar, which was noisy, full of locals and with children running around. Neither option was really suitable and this is something the management need to reconsider. #2 The inconvenient. The bedroom was large, but the only illumination was a single recessed fitting above the door and two bedside lamps with a third on the desk/dressing table. These lamps were fitted with 28watt bulbs (as a bit of a side joke the bedside lamps even had dimmers) so reading in bed was not an option unless you resorted to a torch under the covers. #3 The frivolous. Wardrobe door and cupboard handles were random bits of tree root. I attach a photo as this is not something I usually expect to see polished. All in all if you enjoy a bit of luxury with very attentive staff, and can afford the prices there is no reason not to visit the Londa.

Really excellent hotelThe hotel has an impressive asymmetrical contemporary interior decor with plenty of space both in the public rooms and the bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean and tidy and the friendly service absolutely first class. It's within a relatively frequent bus ride to the centre of Limassol (and the Carnival) but far enough away to enjoy the peaceful view of the sea and distant shipping. There was an extensive breakfast choice and a well maintained gym/spa facility. We were fortunate to have sunshine for nearly all of the time which topped off a really relaxing February holiday.

Excellent service and atmosphereHad 4 days in this great boutique hotel. Is popular with locals which gives a good atmosphere, especially on the terrace at weekends. Breakfast on the terrace, overlooking the pool and sea is a highlight. Lots of lovely touches as well such as getting rooms ready for bed and leaving little homemade treats. Best place to stay in limassol!

Another Brilliant HolidayWe have stayed here many times but not posted a review for a while. However this time we thought we had to. As we come out of the airport and see our taxi driver with a sign saying Londa and our name we immediately start to relax and remain that way for the whole holiday. The first week of our stay was wonderful, as we have come to expect, with exemplary service from the friendly and very professional staff throughout the hotel. Due to the pandemic our stay was impacted with all restaurants and bars closed across the island for the last week of our holiday Without any request from us the Londa family stepped in to ensure we could still enjoy our stay by upgrading us to half board. They were very caring for our welfare and offered the same level of service even though they were all facing difficult and uncertain times with the impending enforced closure. We were the last guests to leave the hotel but at no stage were we made to feel uncomfortable or unwanted There are too many individuals to name personally, so we just want to thank the whole team we will always be in your debt. Stay safe Looking forward to seeing you all when we are able hopefully September
