Dirty room/Cigarette Butts EVERYWHERE-lead to sick puppy & Vet tripThis was the dirtiest room #105 with poop stains in toilet & hair in bath tub. It also a pet friendly hotel or so it says on website. We decided to stay there with our 7 month old mini dachshund. $170 ($20 extra for dog) We arrived after 6 pm and had to leave at 2 am due to out puppy have a seizure and couldnt walk. We drive home to NB and took him to our Vet 1st thing in morning. They drew blood and turns out it was toxic poisoning from a cigarette butt then my husband fished out of his mouth. Their property was littered with them. I called the hotel Friday afternoon when we got home from Vet and spoke to a nice lady Diane. She was apologetic and told me to write an email. I did and I knew manager was due back this past Wednesday. Nothing for her so I just called. Frost desk said she was not back till Monday. Then I said seriously she was just back yesterday . Then front desk asked who was calling and I told her my name. She said to hold on and low and behold Estelle the manager came on the phone. She is the most rude person Id ever met. She offered to refund $20 for dog and $30. Told her that wasnt acceptable as we also had a Vet bill only due to the filth of their property with cigarette butts. She said she would opt fully refund $ She added another $20 and said she would refund me $73 When I went to continue talking she talked over me and said goodbye and hung up. I know people are always dissing Quebec and the rudeness of people and my husband who is very French and I love it and havent experienced this before. I just want people to know of our experience and if your planning on staying their with a dog or small children please be aware of your surroundings. Next time a small child might get sick and I can guarantee the management wont give a crap. We have a lot of friends and family that travel back and forth from NB & NS to ON and back. When they heard of our stay they said theyd make sure everyone they knew knew about this hotel and to AVOID IT AT ALL COSTS.

Great surpriseBooked on a whim on our way home from Ontario. What a wonderful surprise. We had a wonderful room, next to the pool tables. We took a small drive around this quaint town and it is pretty impressive. The hotel front desk staff were simply wonderful to deal with, thank you to Dianne! She assisted us English speaking folks with ordering supper ( pizza and poutine), we played pool while waiting..food was delivered right to us. Good sleep, great check out with a friendly gentleman. As a onus, the pool area in this hotel is amazing! We didnt have suits with us but wish we would have. Wonderful surprise and we will stay here again! Thank you.

Hidden JewelWe recently traveled from the Maritimes to Ont. and were looking for a hotel where we could spend a night along the route. Came across the L'Oiseliere online and made the reservation. What a pleasant surprise. We loved it so much we made a reservation for our return trip home. After spending a number of days in downtown Toronto in a very small hotel room, this place was like a breath of fresh air in comparison. Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed with a very comfortable bed. On our return trip we selected a poolside room in the atrium area and it was lovely! There is an additional cost for the atrium rooms. The food in the restaurant is a delicious. We enjoyed both a late evening dinner and breakfast the next morning. Restaurant is mid-price range however you will not be disappointed with the food. Found the front-desk staff pleasant and helpful as well as the wait-staff in the dinning room. We will definitely book this hotel again when traveling in the area.

Short getaway,,,We choosed that hotel for the all inclusive supper, breakfast. I was very surprised at what I saw when I got there ther is an amazing atrium with pool and hot tub. A very nice lounge. The exterior area is very well maintained with flowers trees and sitting area and outdoor pool. I will defiantly go back.

Great HotelDuring a busy weekend in the region, we booked this hotel. Front desk was gentle and smiley. Never seen a warm welcoming like that. The room "Superior 1 King Size Bed" just OK and looked renovated. Bathroom was very modern and clean. No carpet in the room and equipments were functional. Room in the atrium was not to noisy. Will be back
