Nicely situated if you like a working sea frontWe had stayed at a number of logis on this years trip before arriving at Les Parcs. We had been disappointed at the quality of dinners served, a real let down from our past experience, but found the meals here much better. The room was adequate and comfortable for a two night stay and we enjoyed early evening the walks along, what is, a working estuary. The hosts were pleasant enough and cleanliness of the hotel could not be faulted.

Rather disappointingThe rather unattractive building of this hotel is in a very quiet cul de sac, opposite oyster beds and the associated buildings. The river estuary is attractive, but less so when the tide is out revealing a rather muddy walk to the sea. The hotel is comfortable enough, though our room, was rather small, especially the separate toilet which required some contortionist manoeuvres to close the door. Our dinners in the dinning room were not great, the first when we were in a room with a wedding party, so rather noisy. The second night was the opposite, 5 others only, but the owner seemed intent on serving us and getting rid of us in record time. The food was rather average. We will not return.

Hotel: very average & Restaurant: completely unacceptable!Hotel very average, badly situated. Room OK. Restaurant: "restauration gastronomique" a complete farce. 42 menu: hot oysters with camembert topping, Disgusting! the rest to the same standard from incompetent chef... The only good thing about this place is the number of sea beds where Oyster degustation is wonderful. Nothing to do with hotel.

Terrible Terrible TerriblePlease don't stay here. Apart from the 3 star rating being laughable the host and hostess owner/manager were so rude that I did wonder if I was in an clip from 'Britain's Funniest Moments'. The only good thing about our night here was that the sheets were clean - not much else was though. The dining room was closed and there were no restaurants - of the two moule shacks - open. This was despite checking and asking on booking as we were on a cycle trip. Awful place stuff of nightmares.

Isolated and priceyIf you like oysters, you will like this place as there are local producers right outside and several places to eat them. If you don't then this is a rather isolated spot with little to recommend it and when we manged to rouse someone to serve us a beer they charged nearly 4 euros for a small pression which is well above the average. Little wonder were the only customers on a hot sunny day.
