  Excellent stay 10/10!

  We stayed the last weekend of August. It was an excellent stay on all fronts - room, quiet , service , dinner . Being a veggie can be a challenge in most of France ( except PARIS since a few years ) but they prepared an excellent veggie dinner . Highly recommend!!

  Friendly and Welcoming

  Situated in an easily accessible part of Belleme we were given a really friendly welcome by the owner. We stayed on a Monday night which is probably the worst day to judge somewhere in France. The whole of Belleme was closed by 1600 and we were not able to check in until 1800. We were therefore very concerned about finding somewhere to eat having driven all day from the UK - however the owner explained we could have a fixed menu meal which their chef had mainly prepared earlier which proved delicious. Our room was very nice and mostly clean, the breakfast up to standard. Our advice for other potential guests are - be aware you can't check in till 1800 and on Sunday evening and Monday the menu will be limited - unlike the very friendly and helpful proprietor.

  Old French hotel with few modern amenities

  This is the main hotel in the center of town with less than 10 rooms. It looks good from the outside but shows its age once inside. Squeaky stairways, cramped rooms with little space for 2 suitcases, no air conditioning forcing you to leave windows open (no curtains) with swans quacking all night across the street and other noises from the main highway, cold and hot water alternating, top fixed shower in tiny shower booth, the same gooey wash liquid for hair and body. Expensive restaurant meals with slow service because owner doesn't trust his staff and wants to do it all and becomes irate if you dare complain. Limited parking.

  good beds good shower good food very friendly staff, what more can one ask would visit again the one small downside is no private parking, but plenty of public spaces in the near vicinity belleme is a lovely town with many resturants etc

  The best place to eat feeling like at home

  A magnificent place, simple but extraordinary, the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food ....what can I say? The right point in everything,th no salty,no fatty, just the right point, the delicious chicken and the Charlotte's pate excellent alone or combined with the tasty rose sauce. Simply Marvellous. If you want to explore real Frajce then you should go to Ralais Saint Louis Hotel in Belleme, is a beautiful place to get away from crowded Paris. It will for sure recharge you with good energy. Thanks to the owner he was extremely attentive and also the Chef Sylvain: Amazing food! Thanks! And the rest of the staff.I Really enjoyed my stay in spite of the weather because it's really rainy in February, but summer or spring most be a delightful season to go and enjoy of the warmth of Hotel Ralais Saint Louis and the magic of its kitchen and of the whole environment!
