  Lovely french hotel

  The french countryside has lots of these hotels. They are small and family-run, like this one. Rooms are typical french. Not spacious, but clean and with good beds. All we need for on the way to our holiday destination.

  Very good Normandy restaurant

  My wife and I had a lovely evening meal here. Interesting dishes which vary with the season and the market. All very tasty with good sized portions. Very good value at 24 Euro for three courses and 28 Euro for four courses (weekdays). Classic interior with friendly and relaxed service. Good quality wines by the glass at 5 Euro. We visit Cormeilles regularly and always make a point of coming here.

  AN OVERNIGHT STOP FOR THE FERRY

  this was a good hotel for our last night in France, the room was comfortable food excellent also the wine, service was also good as it did not appear to be over staffed. the town was worth a look around. you are only a short distance from the port

  Such Lovely Owners, such a Pleasant Stay.

  Stayed for One night on our way to Bretagne, and liked it so much, that we decided to book two nights for the return trip, no regrets what so ever, Good and fresh breakfast, and the dinner we had on the Eve before our departure, was an example of classical French cuisine, with a taste to my liking. Try the Lamb with Thyme, and as a starter shrimps and orange parts in a creamy sauce, Chef`s recommendation. The owners are hard working people who earned my respect.   Nice place in quaint town

  We were very well received by the patronne and our room was clean, cosy and comfortable. Nice bathroom, seemed to be relatively recently redecorated, nice shower. The building seemed to be rather old, of the charming type though, and accessibility is limited, lots of stairs and no lift that we could see. Breakfast was very good, plenty of choices, no hot choices though if you prefer that. Excellent coffee. We had a superb dinner on Saturday, we had the Saveur Normandie menu which was delicious. Sadly, the restaurant is closed on Sunday evenings. The restaurant is at ground level so easy to get to. Plenty of parking just outside. The only drawback was the wifi, which was extremely slow and unreliable. Would recommend and stay again.
