Better customer service is needed.Called Le Lac but not by the lake and even from upstairs there was no lake view despite asking for one. Listed as a B and B in trip advisor but it is clearly a hotel. Service felt sloppy as if people had given up. No offer of help with luggage or information. Room was small and dated. Bed was a double not a queen size so check if you are a bigger person. Expensive for what you got and by comparison to the many other places we have stayed. Room was 76 euros and although text says breakfast is provided, it does cost 9 euros per person more. Tried to charge us for a triple room although only 2 of us and reception was pretty grumpy when I queried this instead of maybe giving an apology and saying they must have made a mistake. Some customer service training would help this place a lot.

The hotel looks good on the outside but the room was disappointingThe hotel is well placed , right near the lake and the river, with a small pool and park in the back . The room was small, a bit dark and with old decorations (a bit like in the 80s). The bed was confortable and fairly clean . One more thing i didnt like were the towels provided , were old , were not really white no more and one time ,one towel had holes. For a 3 star hotel i expect at least nice looking towels , especially when the price for the room is quite high .

Horrible serviceThe service levels are really bad. In the restaurant, the service was plainly rude. They were pushing us to order the food while our table was not yet complete. Their response was that we could order for them, which of course we did not. Just a couple of other things: the food was bad, the drinks did not arrive and we had to ask a couple of times, the size of the portions was so messed up that some portions were half of the other portions on the table. Their "so what" attitude was enough for us never to return. Unfortunately, we forgot one of our outdoor pants. We called them and yes, they found them and would send them to us. They never arrived and they do not respond to email or phone calls (there is no one that speaks English, try later). I will never go here again.

Basic accomodationThis is a kind of old hotel in a ski resort area, so I didn't expect too much based on my experience over the years. The room was pretty clean I must say but the towels in the bathroom are a little too old and rough, needs a replacement. They even smell like sauna and that is certainly not what I would like to smell when I use a towel in the bathroom. The room was tiny and if I remember well we booked a double room with breakfast and we got a room with 2 single beds and no breakfast. I just couldn't bother to check it what went wrong and as the staff didn't speak English, it would have been hard to explain. So I already felt a little disappointed. The wellness (sauna/steam/pool/Jacuzzi) is only open till 8 pm. This is handy if you came skiing as you are back at the hotel at latest 5 pm but as I had an other event going on, I was never back before 7.30. I booked this hotel to be able to enjoy the wellness and I have never made it there. Certainly left me disappointed. As I already mentioned the room was clean and even when I got back to my room from the day before, it was all tidy and neat what I found a very nice feeling, just like walking in to a new room every day. Location is good if you go skiing, easy reach from the ski resorts and also from shopping centers and restaurant. I haven't tried the restaurant here, they are also only open after 7pm if I remember well.

Old-school but pleasant, fairly quiet, with pool; and good meals as an optionSlightly outside of the centre-ville, this rather old-school resort-hotel is pleasant enough, and was very quiet, one of our top values. There are only two floors, but wide staircase; no elevator. Our room was rather small but very comfortable, with all the usual amenities and a modern bathroom, much appreciated in Europe. Shower, no tub; good hot water. No A/C and in this summer of record-breaking heat, we used and were glad to have a room fan; this was adequate for us (during the two days of our stay temps went over 105F). There is a small pool where it is possible to swim a 4-6 stroke length w/o racing turns! Optional dinner is at 7:15 p.m. (reserve ahead as a courtesy). The kitchen staff is creative in trying to accommodate vegetarians but struggles a bit for vegans. The breakfast (7:15 a.m. at the earliest) is really royal, on the American scale, with anything you could desire.
