  Nice place to stay !

  Hotel Central offers a rather basic comfort, but the warm hospitaly is heartbreaking. The hotel is located in the very centre of the town, which makes it a bit difficult to reach by car, but is the ideal location for a nice city walk. The rooms are not too spacious but well kept and very, very clean. Breakfast is above French standards (but not included in the room). All in all Hotel Central offers comfort and hospitality for a very reasonable prize.

  Great stay

  We ended up in this town completely by accident after our car broke down, and we were towed her for the night. Very pleased it happened, as it is a stunning little town. This hotel was unique, quiet, very clean, and we were very well looked after for a very reasonable cost. A baby cot was waiting for us in the room, even though this was a very last minute booking. Very friendly host. A brilliant place to stay, and we would absolutely recommend it.

  Warm welcome, quiet hotel in the village center

  Arrived on our bikes after following the canal d'Orléans (unless you have mountain bikes, I don't recommend this trail!). We received a warm welcome from the young owners and were happy to see there was a locked room for our bicycles. Our room was spacious though basic. The bed was 140 cm (double) and excellent to sleep in. Our room faced the street and we left the window open (it was summer). Noise was surprisingly minimal. Breakfast the next morning (6.50 pp) was typical French continental ... however, the breads were top quality - I have not seen such large croissants in a long time. Yogurt was available, too. Overall, very enjoyable stop. Recommended.

  Delightful surprise

  We ended up in Montargis in preparation for a bike and barge trip. Montargis is a really charming city. The main street is closed to traffic which makes strolling through the town relaxing and enjoyable. The town has a number of canals passing through it. Hotel Central was the perfect place to stay. Very close to the main street, but not directly on it. The hotel is run by a young couple. There was a lovely spot to sit outdoors and enjoy the morning breakfast. The beds were very comfortable. We only don't one night, but I would definitely return to enjoy even more nights and this charming community.

  Friendly welcome, value for money

  Clean, central and good value, despite that we only stayed for one night. Only down side is that the hotel has no parking space, and trying to find anything close is a nightmare! Very difficult when one has suitcases to trundle along.
