Don't go thereOne of the worst experiences ever. It started with the lcoation: within a seedy shopping center. You go up the stairs and you have to watch out because the steps are lose. Then pesople that you can not identify as hotel crew "welcome" you. I was there in winter, it was cold inside the room. The tails on the floor where freezing. No wonder when the rooms below (Shoping Center) are not heated... The door did not lock. The bathroom was not clean at all. Minibar...? The breakfast was below everything I saw before. No variaty. Orange juce in a carton... I spent 70, not 25 in a Hostel! The only good thing: I only stayed one night.

NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!!The worst hotel experience of my life! My boyfriend and i travel a lot due to his line of work, and honestly this is the worst experience we have ever had. We were in town with many other hotels guests (including the bride/groom) for a wedding and all stayed here. Our original room was located in the basement, which was very hard to find, scary, and felt like a dungeon. The room itself had minimal lighting and a damp basement odor. I was very uncomfortable and we could hear noises throughout the room, we notified the front desk of our dissatisfaction with the room and were told we could switch rooms in the morning. My bf ended up getting into an arguement with the staff that next morning as they denied the room switch when he went to get our new keys. After much back and forth they finally agreed to switch our room to one that was not in the basement, but this room had it's own set of issues. The rooms are very big and nicely decorated but that is about all the you get with you stay here. The hotel staff was extremely rude, our new room had broken lightbulbs which they did not fix. Our other friends room did not have a working AC /Heat, the kitchen area of the room is missing basic kitchenware, the dishwasher comes with no dishsoap, and there is no extra toilet paper/towels/blanket/pillow. Every time you use the shower you have to walk to the front desk to get another towel. This hotel is fairly expensive nightly so we thought some accommodations would be able to be made, especially for a group of our size there for such a special occasion, but everyone was very hard to deal with. We realized the bride and groom were also dissatisfied as their suite did not even have closet space for the brides dress or anything else. Another couple also had to be moved due to their room condition as well. The housekeeping is sporatic, one day they came and one day they did not. When asked for them to come clean on the day they missed we were told they went home for the day and it was just the afternoon. It was overall a really horrible experience. All guests that were in town for this wedding that stayed at this hotel had issues, including the bride/groom, it was not just us. We would never recommend this hotel to anyone and ALL left saying how bad of an experience we had and how unhelpful the staff was. Never again!

Business visit supplierNice and clean modern hotel. Minimalistic Breakfast but good coffee. Easy to reach, near parking space and city centre easy by foot. To "Free Wifi" is indeed free but has no connection to the www > still they do not cell "Free Internet" so what can you say... for business stay it needs internet! Knowledge of English is off course as minimalistic as their breakfast. :)

Bizarre hotel, but only choice in townIf you need a hotel in Manerbio this is literally your only choice. It was not uncomfortable, but I cannot give it more than 2 stars for its flaws. The hotel is in a very strange and slightly spooky location, deep inside a newly-built but already almost abandoned commercial building. The hotel itself was also never fully finished, seemingly due to financial problems by the developer. For example the parking garage was started, has signs pointing to it, but was never finished and now its foundations are being taken over by weeds etc. We were also one of the only, if not the only, guests! The hotel is not in the center but rather in a soulless run down edge of Manerbio (Manerbio is not the most charming town to begin with). Very few amenities around, with the notable exception of an interesting brewpub catecorner across the street in a strip mall, called Babb. A walk into the centre of town takes about 15-20 minutes. The Loft has a modern "industrial chic" style and the lobby and room and style do make a decent first impression. The bed was comfortable, the room quiet, the air conditioning worked and the shower had good hot water. That's however where the good ends. The hotel, although "new" and unfinished is already suffering badly from poor repair and maintenance - this is seen particularly in the bathroom, which already desperately needs a renovation. Balcony was also dismal and depressing. Breakfast buffet is simple but ok and at least there is freshly made to order coffee. A strange thing was having to give our room key back to the staff each morning as we left so that they could get into our room to clean it, apparently there being only one key. We paid 70 per night incl. breakfast.
