  Fantastic spa, excellent customer service and yummy food

  Due to a road closure we arrived late for our spa treatments and thought we would completely miss out. We explained the situation to Cara who demonstrated excellent customer service and allowed us to extend our checkout, in order for us to have our treatments the next morning. The afternoon tea was delicious, as was the breakfast and evening meal. The garden room was beautiful and the little terrace offered a beautiful view of the loch. All the staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful and the spa treatments were fantastic.The hotel is situated in a stunning setting and I cant wait for my next visit.

  A really pleasant surprise

  Dropped in on the off chance of getting a table for lunch. Even though they were very busy they found space for us and provided first class service. We only wanted a snack so had a chicken sandwich and a prawn cocktail both nicely presented and tasted really fresh. Very covid secure in every department

  Wedding

  My daughter Michelle and her husband Joseph had their wedding Friday 6th November 2020 .I cant praise the venue high enough. The staff the hotel the lodge and the food all AMAZING. A special thanks to Keri who was so helpful.I would certainly recommend this venue . A Wonderful time had by all (even though the numbers were slashed by COVID )

  Rooms were lovely but walls were very thin, up half the night with the next door rooms snoring and people walking up and down corridor. Evening meal was ok for what we paid. Really nice cocktails and breakfast was alright. Room was very clean apart from one towel that had a bit of smudged lipstick.

  Poor service

  We decided to go back to Lochside for dinner tonight, first weve been in over a year due to a bad experience the last time. Im all for giving another chance and I so wish I hadnt. Can never fault the food (apart from my daughter not having beans - not a big deal) however the service is always absolutely appalling... so slow! The workers must have looked over at our table a dozen times knowing we were waiting to order but continued to ignore! Eventually I had to shout someone over to take our order. On another note every table had Christmas crackers except ours, maybe not a big deal to some but to us who had two daughters it was! Our bill was not shy of £100 so would expect a better service!
