Ski trip for 2Overview: Overall I would say our holiday was quite good. It very much depends on the type of holiday you're looking for and the people you're going with. This is a fairly good resort for families but not so much for young groups of people who want things to do in the evenings as well. Travel: Getting to and from the hotel is a nightmare. I would recommend using public transport which cost us £25 each instead of the recommended taxi transfer of £250. Location: The views are amazing, but there is nothing to do in this location. No bars or restaurants apart from the hotel. Slopes: The slopes were quite minimal and we found ourselves on the same tracks several times throughout the week. The ski-hire place was good. They were helpful and polite. I recommend booking ski hire through the hotel as its cheaper than third party organisations. We were unfortunate with the weather and a lot of the slopes were closed when we got there due to lack of snow. You will also want to book a ski lesson (if you want them) prior to getting there as my friend left it until the day we got there and ended up with an instructor who didn't speak any English. The food in the cafeteria on the mountain was good and cheap. Hotel: The hotel was nice, rooms were clean and tidy. Pretty basic but did the job. Our shower head didn't stay up so it was quite annoying having to hold it whilst we showered by there you go. We had a pretty good view as well. Spa is quite nice, they have a gym and a children's area as well so facilities in this hotel are quite good. Food: Pretty bad. If you're a picky eater you wont want to eat here. Staff: The staff were always nice and helpful. I hurt my thumb and was holding ice against it during dinner and one of the waiters wrapped some ice up in a bag for me! Receptionist was always friendly and helpful.

Ski HolidayMe and my partner booked this holiday through a Wowcher deal, this review includes some tips I wish we had known and our thoughts on the hotel. Firstly our trip did not include transport, if you can add this into a package I would recommend doing so! We paid £178 for return! Im not sure how people can suggest public transport as its at the top of a mountain close to nothing! The room was clean, and the staff very friendly, however we were the only English in the hotel and few staff could speak English, with those that could speaking very broken, however they were as helpful as they could be! Meal times were confusing as the menu was in Italian, we google translated the first night and then one of the waiters had a menu printed in English each night as the menu differs! The food was excellent and couldnt not fault it! Skiing was brilliant, the slopes as great for beginners and intermediate level however I cannot speak for advanced skiers. We hired our equipment from the shop at Maniva and paid 37 but we had nothing to compare this on price. The slopes were quiet on weekdays but extremely busy at the weekend. We enjoyed our trip very much, however I honestly feel I would not return as the mountain is not huge and we saw everything we felt we wanted to. We stayed for 4 days which we felt was just enough.

SKI AND RELAXAn excellent spot for relaxation and a bit of skiing. Great food, helpful staff and comfortable accommodation, very close to excellent ski runs especially good for children. Our ensuite room included bunk beds and an upper platform with a large double bed. Comfortable and warm.

Ski holiday for a weekend breakMy sister and I are from Ireland and had never been skiing before. We abolsutely loved hotel locanda bonardi. We were warmly welcomed on arrival and throughout our stay there. The rooms are comfortable with a great view of the mountains. The staff are excellent and offered a great service with excellent hospitality. They made sure we were ok for everything, especially the recpetionist. The spa facilities are gorgeous and it is very relaxing there. The ski slopes are a short distance away and there is a shuttle bus that is available also. Would definately recommend this hotel to anyone. ! Aoife and Jane.

PerfectTravelled with kids for their first ski holiday. Couldnt have picked a better start. Location is stunning. Food delicious. Prices are incredibly good value to eat & drink! Best of all was the attention given to guests by staff at the hotel, they really show individual care to each of their guests. When there are tears at check out you know youve found somewhere special! Highly recommend this hotel. Ski instructor, Luca, also great with kids and equally as welcoming and attentive (& patient!).
