Fantastic location friendly staffViews from this hotel are fantastic it is very modern with plenty of outside seating space. Our room was small very 'designer' but not very practical, the wardrobe was full of cushions, bedspreads, robes & towels for the swimming pool but not much room for anything else, there were no drawers to put our clothes. The restaurant was rather hit and miss, sometimes there was an evening meal, sometimes not, they cater for a lot of functions such as baptisms, celebrations etc so cannot cater for the residents. When we did eat the food was very good. Large car park which is locked at night, attractive swimming pool and grounds. No inside lounges or seating areas in case of bad weather. Breakfast was laid out on a long table quite a good selection but while we were there the restaurant was swarming with flies, the croissants etc were displayed on open plates which were covered in flies so not very appetizing! Bowls and mugs for juice were in plastic. We have one comment to make about the staff, although they were very friendly and helpful they all smoked in front of the guests (outside), most noticeably the Chef who in every spare moment came out to smoke his Cigarillo and then returned to the kitchen to continue cooking, could we make a suggestion that the staff have a separate area to smoke away from guests? Dog friendly our dog was welcomed. Plenty of lovely towns and castles to visit nearby and a great area for wine tasting and visiting vineyards

FantasticThis fantastic hotel is very nicely located, modern with very nice rooms. It is perfect if you want to visit the nearby town of Barolo. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Due to changes in our travel we had to have quite a few documents printed. No problem without hesitation and with no fees. You don't often get that sort of service for free. I'd recommend this place anytime and for sure stay there again if I go to Piemonte.

Amazing locationStayed one night in this small hotel a couple of days ago with our family of four (two adults and two children). Our room was a bigger double room with two extra beds put in, great for a stay of a couple of days but probably a bit cramped for a longer stay. The bathroom was good sized and spotlessly clean. The hotel has a nice quaint style with lots of little cool details. We arrived in the afternoon heat and the kids had a refreshing dip in the pool. The view from the poolside is amazing, overlooking the whole valley with snowy peaks of the Alps at the background. Our bedroom had a balcony and the view was the same from there. We had the dinner in the restaurant, the 4-course set menu costing 28 euros (there is also a la carte available). The food was okay, but we have had a lot better food with the same price in the area. The restaurant looks amazing though, with big windows (did i already mention the view). The breakfast was very good with lots of choice. The previous reviews have mentioned the breakfast being poor and missing several items, but we really had everything - several fresh and toasting breads, fruit, yogurts, selection of local salami, ham, cheeses, cereals, cake and even delicious home baked apple strudel. I would say the hotel is great for a relaxing break for discovering the area for a couple of days. Not much to do for the kids though, apart from the pool. It is very tranquil there, loved sitting on the restaurant outdoor terrace with a glass of wine and taking in all the beauty of the amazing views.

Great Italian family hotel!Looking for a small Italian family hotel? This is the place! The view from the swimming pool is fantastic. All rooms have a great view as well. Daniela, who runs the place, and her staff will do everything to help you. The hotel is perfectly situated if you want to discover the Alba wine region. Breakfast and dinners were great. Lovely place! This is the place.

Perfect place to relax, explore, eat and enjoy the Langhe.Very friendly staff; clearly well-trained and professional and there when you want something and in the background when you would prefer to relax. We love the little balcony off the restaurant for a read, the excellent pool (clean and just the right size for family fun), the relaxing terrace and the great food too. Breakfasts will please everyone, with everything you would like and more. The seafood linguine was superb for dinner and the Ferragosto menu was delicious. Rooms are clean, light and modern with excellent to detail. We would definitely stay here again, particularly as it's so well placed to explore and the views are superb, particularly over the valley with Serralunga castle below you. We'd recommend Locanda Aria di Langa to anyone wanting a great place to stay and relax.
