We stayed there after a long motorbike trip. Has place to park motorbikes. You too have breakfast in one of the caffee shops which is cery close. It is included. Good value for money.

Excelent location and a great value for money

This was a weekend trip with our family, so we've rented two rooms in Via di tor Bandena. The location is just perfect because it is just in a center of the town. Apartment is on the forth flore and not so easy to find. Maybe a bigger sign at the entrance door would be better. There are 5 rooms with bathrooms for rent in the apartement and our two were very clean and comfortable. There is everything you might need in them, same as in much more expensive hotels. Maybe the design is a little bit "loud" for my taste, but it is certainly interesting. The lady at the front desk spoke very good english and was very helpfull. We have asked for some extra pillows and she brought them right away. My only complain is the noice produced by the door bell, especially in the midle of the night. The front doors to the building are set to open automatically once you press the bell, becausse there is no one at the front desk to open them anyway, so I don't see any reason why the ringtone shouldn't be set to silent. That way it wouldn't wake everybody up each time someone returns to his room late at night.

Awkward check-in, but great location for the money.

To be a happy camper (I am), the following are required here: 1. Put a premium on location. The location of this place is great. 2. Put a premium on a modest price. This place has that also. 3. YOU MUST BE WILLING TO READ THE RESERVATION FORM CAREFULLY, AND FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS EXACTLY. Briefly summarized, you pick up the key about four blocks away from the apartment at an office with fixed, and somewhat inconvenient, hours. Even finding that office requires some time and patience. Trust me on this -- it will take you an extra ten minutes even after you have found the building housing the office to then find your way to the office. 4. When you receive your keys at the office, LISTEN CAREFULLY TO WHAT YOU ARE TOLD. At the front door of the apartment building, you do not need to use a key -- just ring the doorbell (this unlocks the front door; ask the office person issuing you the keys to tell you which doorbell to use), and then push the door in to enter the lobby..Take the elevator to the correct floor (ask the office person issuing the keys which button to push -- we were on Floor 2, the third floor.). When you get off the elevator, go to the door that leads to the landlord's rooms. Do not assume the key number you are holding corresponds to that door. It likely will not. Ask the office personnel issuing the keys to tell you which door number to insert your key into. We put our key #5 in the lock of door #6 and obtained entry into the suite of rooms being rented by our landlord. Our key turned out to open not only this "outer door" but also an inner door which was the door to our room -- #5. Once you have mastered this procedure for the first time it's no problem, but woe unto you if you don't pay attention. Points 3 and 4 above were our only objections. Our room was small but very clean and comfortable. The Wi-Fi was great, the bedding new and fresh, the bathroom spacious, and towels generous. While these folks don't provide parking at these prices, they made a good recommendation at the office regarding the best parking option in the area.. Have a map of the city in hand when you talk with the check-in person, and ask that person to mark on the map the precise location of the entry to the parking. It's probably hard to imagine that a public parking facility as modern as you will find in any US city that houses hundreds of cars comfortably can be almost completely concealed from view, but that is the fact! And where do you conceal such a structure? Under an outdoor Roman amphitheatre that is thousands of years old, and buried under a hill that could resist a nuclear attack. You really do have to see it to believe it. So, here is my conclusion: If you want a great location at a very competitive price and are up for the challenge that awaits you to check-in and get parked, you will thoroughly enjoy yourself and have a heck of a story to tell the folks back home when you leave.
